I want to propose a possible challenge for artists. Since the arrival of AI art popping up across all art platforms, for better or for worse, there has been quite the number of people who feel that the threat of AI taking away jobs from artists has gone on and on. While personally speaking, I have tried an AI program to see what the fuss is about and while seeing its uses for references or to help give an idea or two if I am struggling with art blocks for some sparks of ideas, and while ending up getting some questionable results (and a few laughs in the process: 5 legs on one character and fingers on backward and two heads for a few examples), I have thought about possibly attempting a challenge for the artists. The challenge is this:

1. Use an AI program and ask it to create an image you describe.

2. Save the image for reference.

3. Attempt to recreate the image in your own style in an attempt to be on the same level of, or even be better than the AI created image.

I feel that if any artists want to prove they can out-do an AI, then we could get a chance to prove so. Let us see if we can make any image created in AI with any artist program and do just as good of, if not an even better job for ourselves. We can of course either use our own style if we so wish, but to see if we can out-do these programs, we might be able to prove our worths.
