A lot of you know about the passing of Lyric, the Arabian mare Ta'kom and I rescued last January. I haven't been super chatty since then... And then we were hit with the loss of one of my 2023 foals due to a freak accident last week. That has made me even more closed off and dangerously depressed... And just when I think we're on an upswing, I catch wind a couple days ago that one of my greatest mentors and friends lost her battle against severe autoimmune disease - the same type that I suffer from.
I am not ok.
That said, please understand if I'm not responding or doing much of anything aside from projects that speak directly to me. Some do, some don't and that changes daily.
Give your loved ones an extra hug and I love you. Time is a thief and life is fleeting.

Bad things come in threes - so I hope this is the worst of it for you for this year. *hugs* My deepest sympathies - that is a lot to go through in such a short span of time. Take all the time you need to process and heal.
