I sometimes do upload projects, but my turn off is when most artists only use FA and/or 𝕏 only. Both of these platforms alter the files negatively and both platforms ask for monthly fee from the author to alter them slightly less negatively but still don't allow just having the original file.
At least the Spyro images are exactly at the limit of free FA resolution, meaning they are most likely higher resolution originally and you'd have to first pay FA+ and then reupload them for them to be at higher resolution and even then they might not be original.
At that point it feels less like upload project and saving whatever was thrown on the floor, so also have less motivation.

I do actually have scripts to automatically e.g. copy descriptions from source with clear indication that it was from source so that if I fail to tag people, then at the very least it should have all possible sources and description with extra information intact that it can be read or go to actual sources to interact.

That's why also my FA gallery is straight up empty even after all these years and supporting Itaku instead.
Altough there already are other alternatives including Inkbunny, SoFurry, Weasyl, Furry Network, Newgrounds, etc. all which allow just having original file uploads, does feel like most of these are what people use only if they stop using FA sadly.

At least I am aware of at least accusations people have been throwing, but to me at least it feels like making assumptions based on public information that happened at the beginning of the company, rather than what actually has happened or how the company is now.

There's also been many sites called FurryBooru over the years, most are just some instances under bigger booru websites where they bot content from e621 then die out because all they ever did was copy stuff from e621 to begin with.
There's also Furbooru which is made with codebase of Derpibooru, not sure who even operates that one.
