Writing and moving forward
For those who follow me, you've probable noticed a new story posted. Truth is I was inspired after binging "The Good Place" on streaming. When my muse whispers, the stories flow effortlessly and Afterlife only took a month to write.
As a writer, I adore any and all feedback received. Truth is it's the only "payment" I get on stories posted for the masses. Please always feel free to post comments, they are appreciated.
Yet, I feel my muse whispers less to me these days. My pool of ideas may be drying up. It may just be I've written everything I'm interested in already. Once I publish a story, it no longer stimulates my imagination. I have to rely on the works of others to get my enjoyment from footpaws.
Moving forward, on the rare occasions when my muse speaks I will write. When others come to me for exchanges (I don't accept $$$) that also seems to breath life back into my imagination. Putting the ideas and dreams of clients into print is challenging, but fun. Alas, I rarely get to share those stories, but respect the privacy of those who commission them.
I'm not going away but wanted my readers to know what to expect in the future. I may start reading the work of others and providing them feedback. I often ask for comments, maybe it's time I gave more of them.
