God I hope not. It's kind of understandable that they'd want to lighten the load on the servers (I remember when they had to nuke Notifications because they were taking too much storage space), but if they're going to resort to deleting old pictures to do so then that's fucked up.

The weird thing is that it's not the oldest pics, it's just random ones.

I haven't noticed anything. Maybe file a trouble ticket and ask?

I had something similar happened, someone sent me a note saying a particular piece of mine suddenly just wasn't in my gallery anymore but thankfully someone has archived EVERYTHING I wrote and it turned out yeah it just wasn't on my FA page anymore??? No warning, no message, nothing.

That's bizzare... I wonder if it's some rogue mod or some database issue.

Given alot of the controversy that's been happening lately, I wouldn't be shocked if it is a "rogue mod". I doubt they'd even be rogue, it's probably some petty internal thing. But yeah like I'm glad it isn't just me, but wow thats so stupid.

From what I recall, lots of inconsistent takes and tons of hypocrisy about body shapes and body types on a specific set of themes and genres, lots of art being being removed with no warning, people being ghosted when opening tickets about it, stuff like that.

Ikve had issues with new submissons not showing up for days, then it just pops in with the rest of them as if it was there all a long.

Well, it seems FA has a few things going on. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was some werid test of content or clean up algoritim or something.

I also found that only old pics tend to do that. Could be a thing to create traffic. upload some old pic again get traffic again. Activity creates activity. Could be why it is not happening to all old pics but only the one or the other.

Do hope you can get to the bottom of this and if you can, resubmit the piece! It’s terrible to lose such gems.
