That link doesn't seem to be working: but I think on gallery sites like FA, a once-a-month reminder image of the Patreon is best (something that combines a lot of previews at once) OR just linking your Patreon on EVERY SINGLE IMAGE (yes, every one) works best. Or, at least, that's what I've found works best and my Patreon is doing p good!

Granted, I don't get a lot of my Patrons from FA, but I've used this technique on other sites and it works well!!! Good luck!

Personally I am not a friend of Patreon Previews or Teasers. I understand that it is good advertising for the Patreon which a lot of creators use for income. However, I feel that the majority of the time the people who follow the artist on FA are either already subscribed on Patreon, meaning that the preview/teaser is just a junk notification. Or the followers for some reason can't subscribe due to money or other reasons, and the teaser is somewhat cruel since they will either have to wait longer to view it, or in some cases not get to view it at all.

That's just my personal opinion from my experience and would love to hear what others think!

That's understandable, though I can assure you the majority of my followers are certainly not subscribed on patreon, and I've also joined an artist's patreon after something was specifically previewed that I knew I wanted to see! So I don't think all fall into only one or the other category, but I do appreciate your input as I'm sure a good many people will just not be able to subscribe no matter what!

I don't know of many Patreons, etc that ever average more than 1-5% of their followers using FA's comparatively tiny size to other websites as a basis as most likely the biggest supporter-to-follower ratio on common websites. I think the highest ratio is just approaching 10% based on what I've seen from other resources. Especially moreso if by comparison the home site is somewhere like Twitter where the gap is more likely to then involve a decimal point.

I don't personally like preview images. If I can't subscribe to the patreon anyway (like say, due to monetary issues) then it's really just a nothing image that gets your hopes up of seeing new great art from an artist you enjoy. Links to your patreon in the descriptions though seem totally legit. I did used to find artists patreons that way.
