Well as Fenrir said, its probably the upload boom. FA just got itself a bunch more space and speed, but you have everyone who hasnt been able to get on for about a week or two suddenly all on at one time trying to access stuff and post. xD So bit of lag is to be expected.

Edit to this, just saw a FA tweet "We're experiencing a bit of packetloss on FA right now. This can cause site slowdowns/lag, and we're checking into it." and they just posted this "Turns out the packetloss is directly related to the initial bumrush. We've got more people in line than FC's reg line opening day."

So no worries.
