Should I make the change?

So because of my new computer, my renders have come out looking like they have lost a lot of colour/depth/contrast. Because of how lack-luster the quality is, should I try and learn blender?
The alternative is I use my old laptop which makes good renders but is pain for me as it only maxes out at 15fps or I continue using the current computer.
