New year, new goals

Hello everyone!
With the start of the Year of the Dragon it has been a very hectic few months already. I took some time off to camp, travel and hike places I have never been before. It was an amazing experience I cannot wait to head back to when time allows. I have begun my final year, now I am slated to start work in the industry in August this year. I have mainly been focusing on my studies so I can ensure that there is no delay for my graduation. I have been under a large amount of stress this past month. I am grieving for my grandmother's passing, as well as the passing of a friend after his long battle with cancer. It has highlighted the importance of telling those close to you that you love and care for them, as well as the importance of having a will written.
While I cannot pause my studies, I will be tabling at as few events as possible this year. I have slated myself for two multi-day conventions this year (with a third pending), two local half-day markets and a rural single day event that I have never vended at before. With all my duties the time to create personal art has dried up! It serves as my primary way of destressing, and it has been challenging being unable to paint traditionally. I am aiming to participate in the art scene a lot more once I graduate, moving into next year. I still have timetabled in time to work on YCH's and commissions, they will be progressing at their normal rate. I wish to thank everyone for their continual support, being following, commenting, favouriting, participating in YCH auctions or commissioning me! It has really helped with budgeting time and money this year, and I look forward to creating even more through the year of the the dragon.

Many of the people I follow here have been faced with the sudden and painful losses,
and your willingness to mention your own tragedy and how you have processed it
is nothing short of admirable!
Your schedule would seem intimidatingly saturated even to an energetic go-getter,
and difficult as it may turn out to follow it, it speaks to your ability to orchestrate
a truly magnificent life, something as vivid and grand
as your beautiful landscapes!
Wishing you every opportunity to exercise your skills and promote your works,
to the fulfilment of your own self, and to the delight of your audiences!
Best of luck to you this year, with the studies, the art, your family, and everything!
We live, plan, get knocked down, adjust and plan again.
Good luck with your studies! And I hope you can find time to do some paintings for yourself soon
Best of luck with your final year!!!
