Update Journal - YCH Updates | Art Progress | Ongoing Raf...

Yo!
It's not March yet, but I have a journal to update everyone on the upcoming monthly YCHs and more!
I realized that this year, Easter happens in March. That one's reserved solely for the resident Easter bunny of my characters, Malea, but she's already about to be the character involved for February. I'd prefer not to have the same character twice in a row for these YCH (as much as I love drawing my bunny... sorry Malea), so I'm going to shuffle the lineup a little bit:
> Malea's snowboarding YCH is getting shelved for now, and may make a return sometime later this year (maybe in summer, and we can say she went to the southern hemisphere to snowboard for their winter). She will feature in an Easter YCH for late March.
> Aarvid's encounter with a monstrous werewolf will move up to this month. I don't quite have it ready yet, so the release of the signups for it will be pushed back to Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Finally, I will tease more ideas I've had for upcoming YCHs in the future (exact order to be determined):
SFW
> Swimsuits - Sexy poses, sunshine and rockin' beach bods. Will return this summer featuring someone new from my roster.
> Cooking - Chaos in the kitchen. May involve sharp objects and/or fire. >:)
> Combo Attack - For the magic users/fighters out there. Team up with someone from my roster to deliver a spectacular finishing move. Special effects galore!
> Rock Band - Depending on who I choose of my characters to participate, this will be a 3 slot YCH to fill out the remaining members of the band (guitar/bass/drums/vocals) performing on stage. Likely the biggest project I'll have ever worked on, so it'll be at the end of my busy season at work.

> Threesome - Either a couple of my characters take on a lucky someone, or a couple of contestants get to double-team one of mine. Not sure which way it's going yet.
> Goo Kitty Nimah - Nimah turns up her water powers to 11, becoming translucent and extremely squishy / malleable for a lucky partner.
> Malea's Leg Service - Malea knows precisely how to handle bigger partners, but sometimes they're a bit too big for the direct approach. Her thighs and feet will come in incredibly... handy(?)... in this situation.
> Wolf's Den, Part 2 - Another hapless gambler losing big against the luckiest card player of the tavern, Atheress. Brace yourself as she collects her winnings (you) and goes 'all-in'.
> Little Marten, Big Adventures - It's a size difference showdown in the bedroom. Fighting big monsters deserves big rewards, so bring your tall, curvaceous characters out to smother Aarvid with their love as thanks for saving the town.
In other news:
- January's YCH is coming along nicely so far, and has moved into the lineart stage.
- The Azra fanart is turning out to be a herculean task (which was expected, given I'm drawing a 9 foot tall winged shark-mom). Nude version is ready for shading, but the armored, SFW version will take a while yet. Drawing armor on those kind of curves is tough, yo.

I'm not going to make any art for Easter either, as I've already got the ones I liked from last year... And I've got other things I want to do^^
