Forgive but don't forget.

For what it's worth, it's been many years now since Dennis/Voco and I had our mismatch and at times violent disagreements. We both screwed up and went to prison for a day.
I have changed just as much as he has, and I think the old rumors and rhetoric around him should be just as changed as well. We are on speaking terms, if through Telegram. I don't think it will ever be as close as before, but he is passionate about photography. He admires and adores furry just as much as any of us do.
Please don't forget the past, that's always a surefire way to repeat it, but with enough time and a little bit of effort, you can help someone break out of the rhyme and maybe become a better person for it.
Please do not reject Voco anymore without at least giving him a chance. Please let him try again. I think he's earned that much in life for helping me learn how to feel.

Figured I’d reach out and see how you been doing. Sorry I didn’t keep in touch. I didn’t mean to cut ties—I was kind of ordered by my grandpa in 2015 to cut ties with Furry, or I’d be homeless.
Then my buddy helped me escape to Texas (love you Chris) until we broke up during COVID.
I never really got back into the Fandom since. But he’s (Pap) passed as of last year (cut me out of the will for it anyway…) SO- I’m looking to reconnect with folks I miss. :)

I have my own apartment(sister and I got a duplex) car mobile and been at my job coming up on 17 months (I work with adults with mental disabilities who are deaf and am learning ASL). 🤘🦊”
and all it did was get him blocked by an admin/chair of local con and lifetime banned from a group he never got to interact with since he stepped out of Furry a decade ago without a word.

She said she accepted my apology but didn't want to add me back... she had done that with people in the past and enough of them blew it for her to not give second chances anymore.
