I can't believe that I'm going to become a Voice Actor! This is way beyond any dreams I might have had!
I'm probably the only person who would have used taking orders through a drive-through of a fast food place as a gateway to becoming a Voice Actor. Then again, I bet I'm the only person that been confused with a robot/computer/AI when taking orders.
There will be a few months of training, setting up the equipment for recording, creating a demo, and finding the right businesses/market for sending out my work, but hopefully by either the end of this year or the beginning of the next, I will become a certified Voice Actor.

Congrats! I have a friend that does this for a living. Biggest issue he has is keeping outside noises from ruining recordings. That can be a big challenge in something like an apartment building with paper thin walls.

Thank you! And, yes, I completely understand as I am in the same situation. Mind you, it's not noisy all the time. A lot of time it's dead quiet. Just every now an then we have the sirens from fire trucks and ambulances (there's a hospital less than a mile away from here), and the neighbors can get noisy, but not too often.
