Untimely Art Commission Setup + Other Stuff (29/02/24)

[Commision Stuff]
I think I have finally set up my commission details sufficiently enough that I can start doing commissions for those who may be interested in my art!
However, I'm about to go on a 2-week vacation overseas soon, so I can't open my commissions yet.
In the meantime, you can check out my website which contains my commissioning details via the "Terms of Service" and "Prices" sections.
Once I return from vacation (I'll make another journal entry when I am back), I plan to start advertising my commissions being open through my social media and potentially start experiencing the art commission experience.
Technically, you can already send me a commission form to be put on a "waiting list" (but it's probably best to just wait until I return before you send the commission).
If you have any questions or thoughts about my commission details, feel free to leave a comment here or send me a note.
[Other Stuff]
For my posting frequency, I'll broadly say that I will post whenever I have the time to draw something.
Also, I intend to be a little more responsive to the comments I receive for my artwork.
To provide a reason for why I don't respond consistently, it's a little hard for me to find an appropriate response to the comments and I'm quite busy (honestly, I probably don't need to feel obligated to respond but I still want to try to respond as much as possible cause I appreciate them!).
On top of that, timezones are a thing so responding to comments on time is probably always going to be an issue.
[Rambling about a Potential Art Competition Hosting]
I've thought about maybe hosting an art competition where instead of making the best art to win... you would have to create the shittest art to win a prize.
I love seeing art that is so bad that it becomes a masterpiece, for which I legitimately would reward a good amount of money for (hence, the idea of hosting this art competition).
I've thought of 3 prize categories; "Objectively The Most Shit" (it's just genuinely really bad), "The Shitty Masterpiece" (it's bad but it has a lot of charm to it), and "Unironically Kinda Good Shit" (it's honestly kinda good but it's a little rough around the edges).
"The Shitty Masterpiece" would give the highest reward (as it is the reason behind this art competition) and the other prizes will serve more as consolation prizes.
Further reward categories could be added by separating the host's and community's judgments.
As for the rules, you would have to draw something based on a prompt so you can't just draw a bunch of incomprehensible scribbles, and of course, submitting good art is automatically disqualified (or at least, you won't be winning anything).
There may be an issue with publically labeling someone's art as "Objectively The Most Shit" but again, this is an art competition where the goal is to make shitty art.
There is probably someone who already did an art competition like this out there, but please let me know of any records of these because I can't find anything for this.
As much as I like the idea of hosting a shitty art competition, I don't think I have a large enough community to successfully host something like this (nor do I have the money to give out prizes freely).
If you actually read through all of this rambling of mine, I give you a metaphorical gold star.
