Okay, so some things came up and as you may have noticed- I released a story out of the blue. No, don't rush over and look now- it's a story most of you won't read anyway, because it has *gasp* a plot line! It is decidedly not erotica, in spite of two quite lewd transformations that do exist in it still (one PE and one BE). If you remember back in... November? October? Somewhere around there- I announced all Legends Of Keiko and Beautiful Monsters stories and illustrations were being deleted off here, but the Legends Of Keiko related stories would be back eventually with Shin(true) versions. Well they were scheduled to be done -sometime- this year, as in, sometime AFTER the CYOA and novels, along with the slew of drawing tweaks which were also just an ambiguously scheduled 'sometime 2024'. Well, Shin Fox Dance is the first of these remakes and as you can see; it is already here.
Doing a CYOA is already straining what few brain cells I have, so I don't want to try to tackle it when I am distracted by anything else, so for now; Last Leg and Snow In Summer is paused, while I tackle this remake materials. But they are not all remakes, because fitting them properly together into the canon timeline and such means some parts that were never written in the first place need to come to light now.
I plan to do illustrations of all 9 of Keiko's friends; not big, full pictures, but also not sumi-e drawings which is currently the only images of them all. I will also draw Keiko herself, but her illustration is a spoiler for the novel's climax so I am leery of posting it, so... probably wait on doing that one for now?
As for the stories this will involve;
Shin Transformaster : this is a remake, year 1515, Keiko's three tailed story. Will be quite short, and made almost entirely of various TFs.
Cooler Than A Cucumber : this is a sort-of remake of Boarish Tastes, but changes so much from the original that it might as well be an entirely new story. Year 1631, Keiko's four tailed story and will FINALLY actually write the moment in history when Keiko FIRST met Daisuke.
Shin Out Foxed : this is a remake, year 1702, Keiko's five tailed story, when she returns to torment Daisuke- this is half erotica as it will still involve hyper ball growth
Too Dai For : this is an entirely new entry, year 1717. This story will feature the moment Hatsuko's feathers turned black, and act as Keiko's six tailed story. (No Such Thing As Too Foxy previously served this role, that story will still exist separately)
Kaiju Clash : this is a remake of Two, Nine, And None, year 1890. This serves as Keiko's seven tailed story. For the one or two people who actually read the original you may notice its 2 tails short. Yea, this got shuffled through the canon chronology and is not in fact the last story in the timeline. It will be like, 20% erotica as Senri will still use the hyper-pussy hex and features giant growth from Moru.
Shin Inkei no Kami : this is a remake, year 1940. The plot of this one shuffles perspective a bit, but the major beats remain the same. Will be like, 75% erotica, and feature a bit MORE focus on the cursed phallus. This serves as Keiko's eight tailed story, but she gains tail 9 here.
There is no dedicated kyuubi(ninetails) story now. Technically any story that takes place after 1940 in the timeline are her kyuubi stories, so there is already more than enough in my novel.
So that is 6 stories, 9 mini illustrations, and 1 major illustration. Oouf... better get going. ._.

I also have to write two stories now, one from an anthology thing and another one based on an idea I had for a while that will have transformation too. So maybe I am a little bit justified in how slow I am reading your things, haha.
The later years seem so interesting! A story with a kitsune in XXth century? Now that's really interesting. And I always imagine my kitsune as a three-tailed one, so probably it will motivate me to read Shin Transformaster quickly since it's already short and so on. ^^ And is the story from 1631 before or after ending of the novel?
Two remakes and two illustrations down for the Legends Of Keiko. On the subject of illustrations though- if I post the final Keiko one, and it contains a spoiler as spoilery as spoilers can possibly be- what are the odds of you not accidentally seeing it and being spoilered?
Well Genki is a three tails in Fox Dance, lol. But also Shin Transformaster takes place in 1515; Badger is 1454 and Tail Of The Wandering Grave & Fox Dance are 1462, sooo if you're reading in chronological order you're 53 years off of that point in the timeline still. Maybe just use it as inspiration for getting to that point first n_n;
After Tail Of The Wandering Grave the next two stories are Weasel, and On Bladed Winds which is where the Shin Fuku illustration also fits in. Shin Transformaster takes place mid-story during On Bladed Winds. It was only summarized in the novel itself due to fetish/erotica content, so its like Transformaster is essentially PART of the On Bladed Winds story, just expanded to full detail.
Well the novel does continue on into modern times- the last story in the novel takes place in 2010, just 14 years ago. Although Keiko's ultimate battle ends in 2006.
Just out of curiosity... based on what you've read so far... who/what do you think will be Keiko's ultimate opponent?
And if you want to post that illustration without creating a spoiler, then if you warned me beforehand to avoid looking at submissions from that day for example I wouldn't see it probably. :P That's very nice that you thought of something like that.
I will read this story that I am reading now to the end and then Fox Dance. Later either Transformaster or another part of the novel. Will Genki and Keiko... uhm... do some things together, even if a little bit? They would probably fit each other. Ok, maybe I will just read and you don't have to answer, lol.
Also thank you for that colored drawing of Kage! I just like it somehow very much. His expression, appearance, background. Sorry if I already wrote this thanks earlier but forgot now, haha. I have something like 40 pages to read of (I checked now) Tail of the Wandering Grave Ascended and it isn't that much. It's a very slow pace of reading a book with something like 50 pages a month. But I am savoring it and trying to appreciate details, let's say. It's the truth honestly. ^^ There are such details with how Genki was mentioned for example in the first book.
Hmm, Keiko and Genki's relationship is a bit... complicated. Especially at first. Canonically, no instances of them ever having sex, no. But that is because I retconned out the two times it happened in the original Fox Dance. Neither time they were in fox form, and they were doing it to screw the other one over both times, lol. It was uncharacteristic to come from Keiko at the time though, which is why I ultimately removed it. She was trained by Juro- she is stern and disciplined for a fox... back then at least.
Damn, you really reaching with that prediction, rofl- the book keeps everything within Shinto mythology and Japanese history so you can immediately scratch off any cross-overs with any of my other content. Sounds like you just really want Kage to tag in or a second round, lol. The reincarnation cycle has what, eight worlds? I don't think he has even been dead long enough for him to reincarnate eight times by now. Also wouldn't really make sense cuz he would no longer have his partial immortality buff, and Keiko was able to kill him with Juro while she was still just a regular mortal fox- if he tried to come at her when she has nine tails she would delete him from existence before he could blink, lol. They also wouldn't be separate stories if they shared the same antagonist >.>
I will give you one and only hint as to who her ultimate enemy is :P
