Strange, it's like fantasy live action shows, catering to adults... don't capture me. It's like how all those suuper hero shows are too dark and gritty for me. But that's just me.

I didn’t quite know what was happening when I walked in on the exploding scene. I do recall raising my eyebrows involuntarily after it happened the first time.

That show was on for 6 years. My attention must’ve been elsewhere back then. 😀

I watched Grimm back in the late 2000s / early 2010s, for Latin America it was aired on Universal channel Latino, was an interesting take on the fantasy tales of the Grimm Brothers and over a year ago I watched the last season on Latin Syfy channel that was airing it daily from mondays to fridays at nights (along with Lost, 12 Monkeys series, and Heroes)

I watch Stargate SG-1 every day on Comet, and once in a while I'll leave it on for a Grim episode. I never really got into the Grim story line though, as it's a bit dark for my taste. When I do watch, it's mainly just to see whatever critter transformation might happen.

I was watching Stargate when it was on later. I got into that channel when they had Farscape on for 2 or 3 hours a night. Grim has kinda grown on me. 🐸

Yeah, I'm still mad at Comet for ditching FarScape. The Sci-Fi (or SyFy) channel wouldn't turn that show loose for the longest time and I was rather bummed about that since I couldn't afford cable.

Comet had the series on for a few weeks, and I guess they took it off.. Lovely.

Heck, I was watching MST3K on Comet before it went to Pluto(?) Youtube has been spoiling me by airing the MST3K Foreverathon, and I'll riff along with the other snarky folks on the live chat.

As for Grimm, I was given the DVD for Season 2 some years back, but I have yet to watch it.

Comet had Farscape on for all of… 2022. It went through the series like… 5 or 6 or maybe even 7 times. They even had the Peacekeeper Wars. It had been a while since I had watch the show and sorta wasn’t sure I still liked it as much until they started having it on a few hours a day. Sorta glad they took it off cuz I don’t wanna get burned out on it. It actually might still be on in the wee hours though.
It was also nice to see Buffy again but I was getting rather tired of that.
Grimm is nice background noise though. I hope they get Resident Alien some day.

I do wish they’d bring back MST3K.

I'll try to catch the kaiju monster movies when they air them. Usually, it's kind of like, grasping for straws since I don't often know their show schedule. But, the internet might be my friend for that.

I watched Prom Night on Comet over the weekend.

I've been watching Comet for about seven years now. I rewatched all the Farscape episodes when they were running it most nights. I mostly bounce between Comet, MeTV, H&I, Movies! and Nost, usually following where any sci-fi, monster, '80s, or weird stuff is airing.

Same here. I dunno if I have Nost though. I do like catching Barney Miller when I see that it’s on. 😀

It a good series but you can be clueless on a lot if you don’t watch 1st series since it does explain number of things and it took a 8 day marathon watch the entire series

It's personally too dark and gritty for me, but I remember some of the animal people were really cute (especially the wolf guys). I remember there was a guy who opened a cafe or something and he was spiking food with a fungus that kills the animal people (making their stomachs swell up and burst) but it does nothing to humans. I'd like to take some inspiration from the series.

Yeah. That’s actually the episode that sparked this journal post. They blurred a lot of the gore. Some episodes I’ve seen are too dark for me. It’s sorta on par with X-Files.
