I tend to look for artists directly and see if they are open for commissions, if it's unclear or I like their style for the commission I want then I'll contact them.

AI accounts and such, I block right away as I come across them.

I usually look on here, I have had some successes with ych.art and commishes - or just twitter. I also know people have started using vgen.co and also list their slots on kofi

Not sure it's much help but I pretty much look only here. There are a few very special artists with their own websites I keep track of due to the type (style) of art they draw... mostly because I'm fairly picky about the style more than anything. Unfortunately, my tastes for said style are generally expensive (as is my tastes for artists) so I don't commission as much as some do.
There's great variety here that runs the gamut from 'toon style' to super realistic to really abstract. And all mediums are covered as well. I follow you because I like your style a lot... if that helps.
