In the past year, since about January, I started keeping a sketch diary. I've bought some art books to use as references and at this point, something that I always wanted to finally clicked with me. I'm actually getting sort of comfortable with drawing stuff. I've posted a few pokemon related sketches here before, but I've never really thought about learning to draw arts seriously until now. I've already shared some stuff from my sketch diary with close friends on discord and telegram. When I was just a kitten, 11 to 14 years old, I used to keep diaries where I'd write and draw stuff. Obviously inspired by my favorite graphic novels and flash animations from the late 2000's. They weren't good, obviously just stick figure doodles. IDK if any of them even survived after a decade or more. But lately, as I've been dealing with stressors in adulthood and trying to cope with the direction my country is going in, I am finding myself turning to pencil and paper to calm my nerves. I never thought I'd actually say this, but I'm slowly becoming a furry artist. Not merely a commissioner or a figure in the fandom.
