Hey hey!
Just thought I'd make a little life update journal! I've been working my butt off teaching so it's been far too long since I wrote a journal, but ohhh boy yesterday had a doozy of a life update.

Three of my friends and I were having a hangout day to enjoy the last day of spring break yesterday and ended up getting into a car accident. I was the one driving, and while we were on our way home from out of nowhere a random car in the adjacent lane slammed into the back of my car. They didn't lay off the gas until I honked at them. It was an older gentleman and I can only assume there might have been a medical issue to cause him to lose control of the car or he was otherwise confused? It's unclear, because when were all pulled over and trying to take stock of the situation, he at first claimed that another car hit him and knocked him into us. There was no other car or any damage to his car that would indicate as such. Then his story switched and he started insisting that we changed lanes and hit him (we did not, I had stayed in my lane the whole time, plus we were hit from behind). Shout out to my friend for pulling out her teacher voice and telling him to back off when he tried to start yelling at me about it tho! Thankfully there was also a witness that was so sweet as to stop and back us up and give their account of what they saw to the police.

My car thankfully doesn't seem to be totaled although I will need to get it fixed. My dad saved us from having to get my car towed by coming out and doing some quick work on my car to make it derivable enough to take home. We're all pretty sore though! Nobody seemed to be hurt yesterday but by now everyone's starting to feel the whiplash TTwTT Send some extra love to  spidersquiggles because she's got a potentially messed up shoulder and a migraine from all this.
Hopefully it's just whiplash but she's gonna go to the doctor just to be safe.
