Hmmm, well there was that one time I was made into a skunktaur... But sometimes it would be nice to be able to wrap tails with someone while cuddling or.... other things... but then I would miss out on all the teasing my nub lets me do

From Chakat briefly to skunktaur must've been a sight to see (and immediately brings t'mind memory of Chakat-kin Skunktaurs my denmate Tarossb were responsible for). But damned if the Nub Club doesn't have its potent button-pushing capabilities...!

Oh very much agreed on the nub tailed aspect. Shorttail is very much aware of the teasing potential such a tail enables, what with the sneak peaks it allows hir to give.
I am well familiar with the chakatkin skunktaurs from the lovely Taross, this was more the mischievous actions of a gremlin artist with the ability to induce shape shifting abilities and my teasingly referring to her skunk form as a fart squirrel x3

Where do you find so many awesome artists to depict Shorttail? Or do you have any you might especially suggest for taurs? I recently came into possession of one and would love to try and get some more quality art for them.

A good way I have found is to join some of the telegram art channels that specifically pull art with the taur tag on them. They source from here, twitter, and e621 so you can usually catch most of the art that gets posted and following the links tot he artist or using an image locator to find where it was posted and follow the artist if I like their style.

Any especially weird pics you haven't shared with the rest of us? Any you'd like to get?

First part no, everything I have commissioned has been uploaded here either in scraps or in gallery. As for weird stuff, ummmm.... Not really. My tastes tend towards the more vanilla than some of the possibilities out there.

Are there any stories involving Shorttail written and uploaded anywhere? Slice of life stuff involving taurs and chakats can be fun to read.

Sadly not, I am not the best at writing. The only stories involving hir are more lewd in nature and adding context to pictures, both being in my gallery in the commission descriptions here.

One question for the kitty!

Shorttail: Is there any sort of overarching canon or backstory lore y'have for y'self? One expressed in your commissions or other literature or media, or to-be-penned somehow if you ever decide on writing?

Yanno, something like if you were raised in a roving band of chakamil musicians whose roof were the stars. Or were once were the accountant for dangerous mili-corpo types until you got in too deep, and are now hiding in plain sight with a glamorous (and amorous) lifestyle they'd never guess was you! Yeah, real average every-day stuff.

Sadly there never has been much fleshed out backstory concerning hir chakamil nature beyond hir family relations as well as an in universe explanation for hir unique anatomy shi carries below hir lower body 😉

Ooh, fair enough! Doubly so for that most eye-catchy anatomy shi carries. :9 Which it's always a pleasure to get to see more often.

It has usually not ended successfully for those intent on doing so. Many have tried but very few have succeeded without being bucked off or facing a very upset kat with the extra limbs to do something about it x3

Sounds like the kind of challange it would be quite thrilling to try, not so thrilling to fail at.

I wanted to ask, how did you discovered the fandom, how did you created your charcter and what is her story and back story. =)

Also I think I have seen your charcter since a long time now maybe 15 or 20 years now ?
I couldn't remember. Maybe was it on VCL Art ? If not my apologises I am mistaking. XD
Anyway, since you seem to be here and active since the begining or at least since the early year of 2000 era, I wanted to ask : How did you see art, artists, people, fandom and community evolve since ?
What are your hope and desire for the future in regard of the furry movement ?
What about you, do you have any projects or dreams you would like to realise ?

Do you miss the old time ? I mean nothing last for eternity but do you think it kept the "vibe" and philosophy of the 00's ? In your opinion what changed ? What the movement nowday could take inspiration of the furry movment of the early 00's ?

Also here is any artists, comics, novels, books, music etc.. that inspired you or still inspire you ?
How did you build and created your universe ?

Goodness, lots to cover!
So I found furry through the chakats den stories so it was only fitting to make a chakat as a character and I based hir on a bobcat after being around them quite a bit growing up and this would have been a out 2004-ish with the first picture of hir being a badge in 2005 and a full-body in 2006. There might have been something on VCL but I can't remember.
The main thing I have seen is the number of people that have joined since then, with them a diversity of opinions and perspectives, always a good thing. As far as dreams for furry, there are a couple bucket list commissions I would love to add if the openings ever present themselves. I think longing for past times and nostalgia is normal so of course I have some but I have also grown since then so some things are worse some better, just how it goes.
The writings based in the chakats den if course inspired me so Goldfur, Kacey Miyagami and others from the past, now there are too many to name x3
I would love to see some continuations of some chakat stories like the Colony, the webcomic Apollo 13, umm, probably some others xD
