blinks one eye and then the other

h.hello
i was WAY more burned out than i thought i was lmao i haven't picked up my stylus in one million years...
trying to get back to it, I want to draw for fun again! looking at other people's art on here always makes me want to draw so much. it's hard tho innit
commission wise I have no plans to start taking them again in the near future (and definitely won't ever be taking them in the volume I used to, I have a different full time job now!) but it'd be nice to do some on the side here and there one day if I can work back up to it. it's rewarding work and i miss it!
apart from that i moved at the end of last year and i am still unpacking all my stuff 😩 my cat just learned to use the cat wheel i got her after months of looking at it distrustfully. my new job is localisation editing which still involves a fair amount of dongs. i got into blind box bjds recently and now my desk is covered in little dolls. and i'm getting a dog this summer!
how are you folks all doing!

I moved myself this year, unpacking is a pain but can be fun to make the place "yours" at least c:
Your new job is not one I'm familiar with but sounds interesting ^,,^
i'm in the middle of a big move to a new apartment right now myself, so i totally feel you there... it's been hard work but it's also exciting!! 😤 praying my cat acclimates to it well enough too uuuaa
There's a pokemon hybrid meme going around on Twitter, and I am soooorely tempted to join.
Sorry I single-handedly caused your burnout with all those elaborate boot-busting transformation sequences over the years. =)
I'm struggling with a little art burnout and a stupid shitty wrist injury which means I can't draw very much, either... but I'm in PT for the wrist now, so that's good!
How did you get into localisation editing, that sounds cool as fuck
For a few years... But at least you feel your batteries are recharging! Look forward to your works as always
I used to envy both quantity and quality of your output back in the day, but as someone who knows what overworking oneself can do to the nerves, I am glad to hear your time off seems to have been spent productively.
I doubt 'localisation editing' means the same for you as it does in my line of work (language services) though, as I have never happened upon any remarkable dongs while translating software documentation and instruction manuals. ^^
Still super excited to see what you're gonna come up with next, be it for commissions or personal projects!
Sorry to hear about the burnout and everything, hope to see your art again though, cause you do awesome work, even if its just personal art or so
I was so sad to see you go inactive and i got REALLY worried when I saw so many of your accounts had lapsed on like patreon and stuff, I love your work and the comms I got from you several years back are still some of my favorite art pieces anyone's made for me, hoping you're doing better now given how stressful everything's been!
