Update on my Furry Fandom Journey
Moon here
I have been in a weird corner of my creative world. I know I have art just in my sketchbooks that I need to post and share. I have been doing a lot of art and writing, and trying to explore ways to do both, like webcomics and/or publishing a furry novel. I watched 50 Shades of Grey movies, and thought, yknow I could write this story better, make it furry and super queer - yknow just to see if I could. I have also been exploring hypno and clown play ideas.
I just feel like my art is stagnating a tiny bit. I am not sure how to go about learning things to expand my art skills. I am wondering if I should return to my geometric abstract roots, or something. it just feels like I am drawing the same things over and over, but like I want to draw ... more, like on one level it is practice, but on another, like I don't know if I am getting any better. Like better at realism, sure, but not better at *art* which is a difference. I have been horrendously fashion-focused more than usual, so lots of my doodles end up being more about the outfit. But like even that... I need more fashion books to get more ideas cos the outfits are all the same. and I'm like ugh! I have been getting a few Lore ideas for the species I made up or the weird hybrids that aren't really their own species beyond just being a hybrid.
The species I made up for sure are the Squidberry Cyborgs. And like idk I have been trying to organize my creative projects overall, just to have all my stuff in one giant book of awesome, one day, just for me, not necessary to publish in a mass production way but just to have all my worlds with me for me like a grimoire or a personal bible. or a storybook, like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. So to speak.
Anyway, hope to post more content soon, here and/or sofurry, and idk Look for ways to ... get better and experiment with my skills, I guess?
Moon out.
