Solar eclipse
It's just a few minutes over 24 hours until my location will be experiencing about 4 minutes of totality. I'm just hoping there will be a nice timely break in our partly cloudy weather forecast.
Why didn't the Sun go to college?

Because it already had a million degrees.

We had a partial eclipse where I am in 1979. It barely got dark at all, because not enough of the sun was blocked.
Tomorrow's will be the first total eclipse to pass over my area in my lifetime, so I'm really hoping for a clear sky. The weather forecast is still uncertain, even though it's less than 18 hours away from now.
I need only walk outside to view it, because the I'm only about a mile south of the center line - about as good as it gets.
