Update on Commissions and life stuff.

UPDATE #3:
Well. Things have certainly settled into routine for us now. Unfortunately my grandma hasn't made any more progress in being able to walk. And her mental state continues to be in a very slow decline from lack of stimulus. She wants to do nothing, even if we try to get her to do anything that would be good for her mental stimulation. At least she still exercises (when she's not being stubborn as mule xP) to keep her arms in relatively good shape. We have a little sitting bicycle thing we got that we are gonna try to get her to use to build up some muscle in her legs. Hopefully it goes well! But i think this is going to be the last update on the situation. Sorry if it's been quite dreary. I just thought it was good insight as to why my mood to do art has been so down. Mostly because i've been too mentally exhausted to do so, after all the gram care.
I'll still work on the commission stuff i've had lined up, as i said before! I'm nearly done with one of the coms, so the next will be worked on in the coming weeks. But still. Do expect my output to be vastly slower, at least until i find myself in a less mentally drained state.
Thanks for reading, and I hope everyone else is doing well, or at least well enough :3

UPDATE #2:
Things are looking better for sure! Grandma's swelling knees and ankles has gotten significantly better, and was likely gout (Which she never had before the meds. So we have stopped giving her foods that can cause gout flare-ups. tomato, eggplant, red meats, etc.) And so far she's only had some soreness related to the affected areas! She's been able to move in and out of her wheel chair pretty well the past week too, which is a huge relief since that means we don't have to physically lift her into it each time she has to go places. She can stand (not very straight) long enough for us to do other things, brush teeth, put on her undies. Mentally. It's still a bit random on any given day, but i'm excited that more often than not, she is talking like she used to a couple years ago.
Her blood pressure was a stable 130-145 systolic 78-98 diastolic for a week or so, but recently has fluctuated and has been high and low for 3 days, and we aren't sure why. (Talking 170 - 150 Sys) So that's a little stressing.. but hopefully that normalizes again.)
The progress with the therapists are going well too! Though getting her to exercise when it's just us is like pulling teeth. When she doesn't wanna do it, she really doesn't wanna do exercises. Like.. she will shut her brain off and just stare into space and do the most halfass reps ever and there's barely anything you can do to make her take it seriously. So we have to disguise the exercise as normal activities she has to do. (getting in and out of the wheelchair, standing up to do various things, etc.)
Anyway, i'm optimistic for how things are going! I've been doing com stuff little by little, and the next one should be out in a week!~ Thanks everyone, once more for being patient and understanding ^^
/UPDATE #2
UPDATE:
So my grandma is now back home and am very glad.. but also still feeling pretty stressed out by it. She's mentally back to where she was before the stroke, for the most part. But her mobility is still severely limited. So we have to help her go anywhere in the house. The medication we are gonna have to give her for her high blood pressure also has... alot of nasty side effects. One of which makes her knees swell up and makes it hurt to walk. BOY I SURE DO WONDER HOW WE CAN REHABILITATE HER when that is the case :/ Another can make her light headed and dizzy. ALL this shit is going to make it hard for her to regain her mobility. I hate modern meds on so many levels.. but it's also for her high blood pressure... i wish i didn't have to give her any. but her risk of another stroke without it is scary.. so we have to give it to her. SIGH....
Anyways. That's the gist. On days i'm not feeling so.. upset by this all. I will continue to work on coms. But as i said before, it's very slow going. I'm sorry to everyone that's paid still. And as before, if anyone requires it, i can refund them. But i PROMISE, i will get to your pictures eventually.
Thank you everyone for understanding. Please take care.
/UPDATE
So i'm slowly plugging away at commissions, of course.
But my life is at the moment filled with a lot of emotional stress.. My grandma need lots of care and watching so she doesn't hurt herself; and only very recently as well. She likely has dementia, the signs of which slowly and gradually started showing up.
But the part that's upsetting is how quickly her body started to deteriorate.
In December of 2022 she got heat stroke (South carolina heat...) , which at the time only affected her briefly and with basically no side-effects. 6 months after that incident, her mobility suddenly tanked. And then 3 days ago, while she has been walking on the treadmill as recently as 4 days ago, lost a very large portion of her mobility once again.. She now cannot move by herself and needs our aid to move about the house, and even to use her hands in some cases. Grammy is.. also very stubborn. Always has been, and even in this state, she's still stubborn. So when we try to tell her she needs to rest (Of which she had maybe 2 hours sleep) She would rather do stuff around the house, and is adamant in doing so. Or will forget we tell her.
So that's the gist of what's going on.
Once we are more sure of her situation, and also ours in caring for her. I will continue working on the commissions i have left to do.
Currently sitting at: 9/12 COMPLETED (Including a private MLP only commission type)
If anyone wishes to have a refund since everything is so unsure right now, then please reach out and i'll refund any payments made (minus paypal's fees and/or tax) to not yet started commissions.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to read. If you have questions, please comment. I'll get back to answer them as soon as i can.
