...how do hairstyles work with/around animal ears/horns, anyway?
I'll be the first to admit that I mostly don't pay attention to this, but thinking about it now makes me curious. A quick search doesn't seem to turn up much in the way of art studies on the topic. Somebody should do that or somethin'.

A good question. I tend to draw hair flowing around the ears, but if I wanted to do more, I could look at various hair growth patterns and put them on anthro heads with ears or horns, and extrapolate from there. It would certainly make an interesting study.

Yeah, hair distribution/flow patterns are something I don't think too much about, either - that and working out exactly where the head-accessories sit on the skull would be the major factors in figuring this out. Hmm.

i feel like ive seen some people thinking about it, along the same vain as designing real clothing for it, and other fantasy races, but then everyone just ... on caring about it as much these days.
