The Passing of Loaf, my 15 year old cat.
Good evening all.
Tonight, I'm sad to say, was the night I said farewell to my first ever cat, Loaf. Super long-time followers might recall me mentioning her before. She's been with me since January, 2012, when I adopted her from the local shelter and they'd estimated she was 2-3 years old at the time. She lived a good long life and always kept me company while I drew and worked to keep a roof over our heads. Within 2 days of me moving into my apartment, despite my parents' advice to wait to get a pet, I met her as fate would have it when I visited the local shelter.
My productivity had started suffering over the past few weeks as I was trying to problem solve her accumulating health issues. Eventually it became apparent that her time to go had come. This evening, we found an UrgentVet that we were able to take her to to ease her final moments and allow her to pass in her sleep.
While I feel hesitant to ask, the vet bill from tonight definitely hit for a decent amount. Any financial help, no matter how small, would be incredibly appreciated. Please do not feel obligated and please ensure you are in a good enough place if you wish to give. Any amount will help me to cover the bill and help me to breath for a day or two to mourn her passing. Thank you, if anything, for giving and even if not, it has helped me calm myself more just writing this out to you all.

I will put this link here if you feel so inclined but above all, thank you for always being here and providing a kind place for me to create and share in. <3

Sent a bit of money your way. Put it towards either her vet bills or ordering in--the last thing anyone wants to do is cook during these hard times. Wish I could send more.
I'm so sorry
12 years sounds like a lot of good times and memories, she had a wonderful life thanks to you ♥
Loaf will be waiting...
Our deepest condolences in sincerity...

I'm so very sorry to hear that Hun. I just lost my bird on Wednesday. If you still need some help on the first, I'd love to try and send a little your way. Always remember the happy memories.
