I don't know if it's just me, but as someone that gets a lot of YCHs there's a growing trend that I've noticed with this website. This is not meant to be a call-out post since I know those are disallowed on this website, more as a thing of awareness?

When it comes to YCHs there a lot of artists I've seen on this website using a very similar style (not that a similar style is a bad thing) but more so a thing that I feel those accounts are run by the same person (or group of people). It's as though one person, or a team of people all learned from the same style, created an account last year between August and December and used those accounts to spam post YCHs. I just am curious about the motives behind this move and why it's being done.

I've been keeping a slight eye on these accounts, and I've noticed around 20 40 or so accounts, all with a very similar angular style (they're noticable though the same sort of style. A grey angular looking character with either a very detailed background, rendered background or a 3d modeled background), and all only posting YCHs all around the same time of day. It's weird

I dunno, maybe I've become too paranoid... or maybe there's something going on here. I don't know but it just feels off, y'know?
