A non-important update journal on getting nostalgic over NEOPETS. Yeah, I was around that age range. It is probably one of the primary things that threw me into furries and maybe inspired a lot of how I think that I NEVER seem to mention compared to a lot of the stuff I cover on this art page. I always see “Neopets” listed in the fictional species tags when uploading, but never really thought back about it until now. Anyway, that’s it. A virtual pet thing maybe still happening. THAT was what made me think back to Neopets.
Anyone else following me even knows what I’m talking about? There’s actually a good, non-biased Down The Rabbit Hole video on it; learned a lot of stuff I didn’t know or because I eventually fell off of it and got more into RuneScape.

I haven't heard of Neopets, i was more a Runescape, Club Penguin kid. Whats it about?

You raise an online virtual pet from a list of many different species; play flash game to earn the currency, find and purchase like thousands of different items, its expanded quite a lot, but still died out over the past several years

Thats a shame. We had a similar game called Webkins that also got discontinued, and before that we had tamagotchis.
