Since it looks like I'm actually going to use it on a regular basis, I figured I should share that I am on Mastodon!

I boost, I like, I use alt text and CWs more or less appropriately.
I didn't know there was a fatfur specific instance until after the fact, of course. That's OK, since I'm mostly using this for general content, like babbling about emulators and gardening and whatnot. I like the Fediverse a lot more than traditional social media, super sorry. Twitter left me feeling... well, a little spooked. It's nice to be in an internet space which feels like the real internet (ie, not a US rage fest bubble). Seems easier to avoid trolls in the Fediverse too (well, provided your instance blocks bad instances, for example, and doesn't tolerate bigotry etc).
Anyway, I hope to see some of you there!
