There are people impersonating artists on telegram, twitter, etc including me

Just wanted to give a heads up and go through some common sense general safety rules for avoiding phishing/spear phishing
1. Make sure they have as many followers as you expect
2. On twitter, verified logo means nothing
3. Make sure their name is spelled right
4. Search for their page on your own

Also be known that they can block the original artist and reply to their posts and the artist is unable to see their post or hide their replies even if they are aware they are there. On Twitter you cannot hide replies from people that block you allowing spam bots to avoid being hidden.

Edit; Scammers can block someone and then post in the replies of a thread/post and be invisible from the OP

Plus for no fucking reason at all if you block someone they cannot hide your replies from their post???? Why the fuck is that a thing?

Also impersonators cannot be reported except by the person being impersonated IF the person being impersonated submits a bunch of crazy shit like their birth certificate to Twitter. Like ????? What the fuck
