Hello! It's been awhile. Again. I'm usually not one to share RL information, but here it is for full transparency.
Awhile back, my laptop died again and this time there's no bringing it back BUT I do now have a desktop, though the replacement cables for the power supply and graphics card are taking longer to arrive than I thought. Hoping soon they'll come in and I'll be back up and running to get owed completed files out.
Now another major reason I have been gone for so long. As I've stated in a past journal, I am a bio female. I had needed emergency life saving surgery back in April due to an ovary getting obliterated by an ovarian cyst - go by masc pronouns 90% of the time (fem pronouns are okay! I don't jump people's hides about it!). Miraculously, in August, my husband and I found out we were expecting clearly a miracle baby. Since back in 2019 to near mid 2022 we have been trying with no success and believed we never could. Felt like doctors gave us false hopes. I was also working outside the home again trying to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table while my husband was still out on medical leave for the same injury that WAS supposed to be fully healed - that was what his surgeon had implied back in Nov 2022. The plate in his ankle broke and the bones weren't even healed. Twice. Meaning he needed two more surgeries last year for replacement and once again further repairs to the bones in his ankle, including pieces of donor bone to replace the damaged section of bones that couldn't heal properly.
He was finally officially cleared to go back to work this passed April! And my last day of work was at the end of March in preparation for the arrival of our son. Whom didn't officially arrive until mid April. All in all, my pregnancy journey was difficult, but he's here strong and healthy!
The last couple years have been rough, 2023 a much larger and difficult challenge. So. I'll be retiring from doing commission work, though I am not leaving the art community! I'll be mainly focusing on my Jyehna world species (O'rheni and Ra'veira), personal art, bases, misc adopts and YCH. I'm also hoping to get back into streaming for those that'd would like to come hang out and chat, watching my art and possibly also do random adopt raffles in them. Claiming any adopts I make via my hopeful future streams will also be available to do if any of my designs draw anyone's fancy.
Again, I apologize for being gone for so long again and will be up and running as soon as I'm able!
