I feel like, while I am grateful to have a couple of friends who r rly talented artists, there's also a bit of a downside to it. Sometimes I just feel insanely embarrassed to post or share my work, including to my friends. & even if they say something nice in passing, it feels patronizing. like an: "oh nice." feels more like a: "ur little scribble is very nice sweetie. anyways-" & I don't want to feel like that but it is reality. So then I get into a loop of "delete everything. feel safe. start over."
my impression of most peeps (artist and non-artist) is they don't see flaws in art like the original artist. they see concept before everything and other artists tend to appreciate skill more. ya got both so 🤷♂️
also also, if it makes ya feel better, then Nuke it, feel safe & start over again and again 👹👹👹
all these sites are gonna blow up some day anyway. At least i get to see ya styyyyle and concepts for the moment & that's a hella good w me
