Got hit by a Tornado

I am making this journal VERY brief because the power is out for me and wifi access is limited at best, but, Houston, Texas just got hit by a
pretty powerful storm/tornado yesterday that caused a lot of damage..the cell towers are knocked, therefore I will not be on furaffinity
until the power and internet start working again. When will they start working? have no idea, it could take days for all I know. Me and my
family are safe and so is my house (On the inside at least), but I have never been in a tornado before and it was the most terrifying
experience of my life. I saw my fences come clean off the ground and flew away with my next thought being that my house will also be destroyed and that we were going to get hurt (luckily that didn't happen), but my front yard and backyard are pretty fucked up and there are also a bunch of branches everywhere (Big and small)
I say all of that to say, Commissions are on pause and and while I am currently responding to people, I may stop all of a sudden.. I am so sorry guys. ππΏ

Sorry if this was too long a post. I was in a similar situation and well... I don't want anyone to experience that feeling but I hope things over there settles down and gets back up as soon as it can for all our sakes.
(Feeling a bit dumbfounded in the fact that I live in the Houston area, and I wasn't aware that a devastating tornado hit until reading your journal π¬)
My friend who was in Missouri City at the time said that the tornado never hit there and it only rained a bit hard, so only parts of houston (downtown houston got hit the worse apparently) were affected.
