Just so that others are aware because this has happened multiple times and I'm not calling out out in specific but... my notes are only open for business purposes meaning I don't really want "hello" or "Would you like to chat" messages.(especially from randos). I'll put this in my rules thingies so that people know but I just wanted to elaborate here.
This is for multiple reasons but mainly I am introverted af lol, and I'm horrible at human interaction. I have the introverted part In all my bios for a reason, not just to be quirky.
Please do not take this the wrong way! This is NOT to say that I don't want people to contact me at all, I am more to happy to answer questions and give advice on things if you need it! And I am OPEN on making more friends, but... it will be natural and done on my Terms and not forced.
Most of the time before, when I would answer these types of messages and people would try to be friends with me... all we would talk about is diaper stuff which is okay I guess, but I have so many other interests than that lol and the topic becomes quite repetitive for me. Just please don't make your messages vague, so that I can mentally prepare myself lol.
Also side note... if I take long to reply to comment and messages, (or just don't respond at all really) please don't take it personal, I am just not always in a chatty mood and honestly I just don't know what to say most of the time... IDK my interaction skills are shit lmao.
TLDR; Don't send me Hello or/and would you like to chat type messages, If you want to be friends, it will be done naturally and not forced! :3

People do be weird. I had one person send a note only saying "Hi" and then they wouldn't talk about anything other than the Marfalump. The account is banned now though, I saw his profile and a lot of the shouts were about people saying that sending notes only saying "Hi" is like a red flag for bots and trolls, so that might be how he got banned. And yeah, the diaper thing, I've had people do that too, like that's the only thing that matters.

I get what you mean lol. For me, these have been real people and I don't think they'll trolls, but some people just don't understand that not everyone wants to be all chatty with randos (and even friends) all the time... err it's a introvert thing. Not sure how to explain it >_<

I'm pretty introverted myself, and I get how disappointing it is to see a new note, thinking it's a commission, only for it to be "Hi."

Wow, so, I actually just had this happen over on DA yesterday. The sent a message saying "Hey there" and they sent it as a request instead of a general message. They basically just confirmed they just wanted to chat. Why is the internet like this? XD
Thanks for letting us know that you're not keen on informal/casual notes. That's a useful boundary to know about.

Yeah, I kinda feel bad for saying it but like at the same time... I am okay to chat with people I consider friends but with randos... I am just not comfortable doing idle chit-chat unless I actually find the topic interesting...

Yep, i stopped replying to a guy and they kept spamming notes asking personal questions and everything. I just ended up blocking them but I'm also not using this for business

Yep, similar situation but on discord, I didn't block but I just stopped replying their messages (I know it's kinda rude but they were spamming and I just couldn't take it anymore-) and I eventually they stopped.

I know exactly how you feel. Last month a random person sent me a message on Messenger that said hello handsome. I have no idea who they are. I searched the members list in groups that I help moderate and could not find their name. I did block them on Messenger. I have received friend requests from cloned accounts. Some random furry also sent me a message and stopped talking to me. People can be interesting. Messenger, let alone Facebook, is not the place to find to find true love.
