Update on my situation...
We interrupt your regularly scheduled program for the following announcement... As you all have read in this journal, I have been homeless since 01/19/2024. Getting into a shelter was and still is impossible as every shelter in a 15 mile radius of my location has been and are still at over capacity. In the time I have been living on the streets, I did the most egregious thing possible for shelter, living in a storage unit (yes, I know it's illegal and frowned upon, but I had to do what was needed) where I could get some decent sleep, stay out of the elements etc. However, living in the storage shed came at a cost, and that was the lack of bathroom, toilet, kitchen etc. I have been doing field hygiene which basically means I was using diaper wipes, body soap mixed with water in a ziplock, dry shampoo and the like.
I have been using my downtime between shifts to toss useless junk into the trash, donate most of my clothing, dinnerware and linen to shelters and charities and to sell what I can. Anything that can't be donated to shelters and charities will be unceremoniously dropped off at various thrift shops for them to do what they want.
That is what I have been doing the past four months, now for the goods news and bad news...
Bad news first...
I did suffer a major setback on my depression and mental health (lost all of my my meds for depression, ADD, blood pressure etc). In short I pretty much did things I knew was not good to do that nearly destroyed my financial health during the first couple of months being homeless (something that I have been getting counseling to keep from falling into that pit again).
Good news last...
Last week a good friend of mine for college called to tell me that his brother Mariam wants me to move into his apartment to help with expenses, something I have said yes to and will start moving in on 05/19/2024. Secondly, I did get all of my lost meds replaced (I have yet to find them) and am back to taking them to my mental health and depression back on track. I have been on a heavily reduced diet and that has shown wonderful results (went from 295lbs down to 250lbs since the start of this cursed year). I have nearly stopped all of the destructive thing I was doing, but it is going to take a couple of months for the damage I did to my health and security to start to show positive recovery. Also, Mariam has five cats, one adult and four kittens, there is one of the best remedies for depression and bad mental health. I did let Mariam know that I will most likely be going to spoil and terrorize said felines with lots of love and attention.
Now that I have a place to stay at, I can focus on putting funds aside to get a somewhat decent cash car (Need to get non car owner's insurance first) and try to raise the funds via a soon to be revived GoFundMe. I have feelers out on many different apps and websites to try to get a car extremely cheap or free. Right now I am looking for a car that runs good, has AC, windows that roll up and down, 2 or 4 doors and a radio with an AUX port and a cigarette lighter/power port where I can plug in a dual USB adapter and run a bluetooth speaker velcroed to the dash and my phone.
I am also looking for a secondary job to assist in raising funds for a car. I plan on applying at the Amazon warehouse that Mariam works at to be a delivery driver. He told me that Amazon does offer CDL training free of charge for employees that are are interested and that with the three degrees (2 associates and 1 bachelors degrees), I can most likely be fast tracked into management.
I am also contacting Veterans assistance groups to see about getting the needed help to apply for jobs in the federal sector or getting a federal job in another country so that I can become an expat down the road.
If anyone wants to help me get a car (even $4500 would go a long way as a down payment for a devent set of wheels, my PayPal is: Johnny_yuma1965[at]hotmail.com and my Kofi and my cash app: $Ainoko if anyone is willing and able to help with the funds to secure a car.
Also, I don't plan on ever getting a title loan again, as getting one from Titlemax started my downfall.
One last thing, I am set to get formally tested for Autism, ADHD and ADD before the beginning of August.

I’m glad you’re holding on and things will start to look up! I’m not great with words but I do want you to know that there are some of us out here concerned and we are glad to hear this.. I am sadly unable to help in any financial way and I’m sorry ;-; but I’ll truly always wish you the best. I know words probably don’t mean much but, you are very strong and brave. *hugs*
