Starving for ideas π«
I recently created two good adopts, got a lot of views and likes, but still haven't received a single bid : (
I'm really sad to see this and I'm giving up, although I wanted to try to create a small series of interesting character designs and concepts. I am sorry to see that no one is willing to take them in π

No matter how sad it is, I still want to create something interesting and cool π
Maybe one of you could tell me what you would like to see? Give me ideas and I can surprise you!
Maybe it's a hybrid with a dragon or some kind of profession? π€ Or a fan-adopts from the game? It would be interesting to hear your opinion π€²

The crystal unicorn is pretty hot though. :D
I'm definitely no expert on adopts - but maybe try an adventuring party? Like a cast of warrior/mage/priest kind of thing and see what people jump for?
Its based on Luck. Maybe you might have an idea that people want, other times, it may not be what people are looking for.
Also consider that the Economy is in a very....weird, place for alot of people, and there are Tens-Of-Thousands of people on this platform, and everybody is competing, and consumers have to pick and chose, because we have finite money.
Again, there is no secret or winning formula...its mainly luck.
If you still have the want and drive to keep creating, Id say keep doing it, never give up. You may eventually get that one idea, that suddenly sells. You just have to keep experimenting.
Experiment and try new things, and expand on your skills.
You can only improve, until you do find things that work and sell.
But never quit, because even if some things dont sell, you can still at least keep building your portfolio and getting better and possibly more ideas.
Im skeptical on ever mentioning Prices.....because it is impossible to consider what is fair to the artist, but be attractive for someone to be able to afford. Its hard lol.
From personal observation, I find adopts who are given a bit of a "personality" that the buyer can work with helps. Or something quirky about them. Basically, you don't want to tell the buyer what to do with their purchase, but giving them something to work with helps improve your chances of the sale by a lot.
Personally, I don't buy furry adoptables as I don't RP furries. Human males? Yes, yes I do. The beefier the better. :)
But I have one design in stock that I want to implement as soon as possible. The most important thing is that I must prepare myself for the fact that I will have to say goodbye to such a character, giving him into other loving hands π₯Ί
I can't wait to see what you put out if you do make humans!
I do know if you search adopts, just here alone there are 100s and 100s being posted every hour, so sometimes adopts just really get overlooked. It just takes the right person laying eyes on it.
I've personally been way into fantasy humanoids lately. I usually don't like straight up plain humans, but elves, or demons or something that's mostly human-like but just has some fantasy aspect to it. I'm a sucker for mage characters, can't seem to get enough of them. Long-haired fairly pretty men seem to grab my attention the most.
I have a different design, I bought it from another artist, and I plan to draw it in my own style. At this point I also need to decide to sell it, because the design itself meets my preferences Ρ )
One of the reasons though that I don't really do anthros as much, is I left a big RP community that was mostly anthro RP, so it's gotten harder to find good RP partners.
I also remember that you received a commission from me, for which I thank you very much π€² You try to support me no matter what, even with those detailed comments that you sometimes leave in my journal
