I make dragons 90% of the time that sell really well 😭 so i'd love to see you design an eastern dragon or hybrid of one!! def always a hit in my opinion, i love all your adopts though!!

I'm definitely no expert on adopts - but maybe try an adventuring party? Like a cast of warrior/mage/priest kind of thing and see what people jump for?

You have great preferences in characters, and the number of times I've seen your OC, they've all been excellent. So if I manage to create something interesting and you can praise me for it, then I will consider it an absolute success for myself! : D

There is no Secret or Winning Formula here.
Its based on Luck. Maybe you might have an idea that people want, other times, it may not be what people are looking for.

Also consider that the Economy is in a very....weird, place for alot of people, and there are Tens-Of-Thousands of people on this platform, and everybody is competing, and consumers have to pick and chose, because we have finite money.
Again, there is no secret or winning formula...its mainly luck.

If you still have the want and drive to keep creating, Id say keep doing it, never give up. You may eventually get that one idea, that suddenly sells. You just have to keep experimenting.

 cynax above has a decent enough idea to try other themes for adopts. You have nice strong warrior looking guys. Now try more mage guys or gals, even rouge or archer looking....drawing different species.
Experiment and try new things, and expand on your skills.
You can only improve, until you do find things that work and sell.
But never quit, because even if some things dont sell, you can still at least keep building your portfolio and getting better and possibly more ideas.

Im skeptical on ever mentioning Prices.....because it is impossible to consider what is fair to the artist, but be attractive for someone to be able to afford. Its hard lol.

Haha, then all the characters I create will be white-haired men or guys with a dark beard, yellow demonic eyes and dreadlocks 😅
But I have one design in stock that I want to implement as soon as possible. The most important thing is that I must prepare myself for the fact that I will have to say goodbye to such a character, giving him into other loving hands 🥺

I thought both of them were really neat and clearly had a lot of thought put into them, but neither were really my style of character. I'm generally not too big on equine anthros or domestic dog breeds for canines. (tend to favor wolf/jackal when it comes to canine stuff. I have kinda moved a bit away from playing anthros though, so in general it just takes a really 'perfect' one that matches all my prefs and aesthetic. I can't speak for others though. I know a lot of other people like those things.

I do know if you search adopts, just here alone there are 100s and 100s being posted every hour, so sometimes adopts just really get overlooked. It just takes the right person laying eyes on it.

I've personally been way into fantasy humanoids lately. I usually don't like straight up plain humans, but elves, or demons or something that's mostly human-like but just has some fantasy aspect to it. I'm a sucker for mage characters, can't seem to get enough of them. Long-haired fairly pretty men seem to grab my attention the most.

I have a different design, I bought it from another artist, and I plan to draw it in my own style. At this point I also need to decide to sell it, because the design itself meets my preferences х )

my prefs kinda fluctuate over time. When I do go for anthros I tend to like wolf/fox types and goats. I've actually been pondering making a really sinister black goat mage character at some point, I have a basic idea of what I want him to look like, but just gotta wait til I can justify forking over money to an artist to design him, ha. Cost of living is killing me and I can't spend on art like I used to a few years back.

One of the reasons though that I don't really do anthros as much, is I left a big RP community that was mostly anthro RP, so it's gotten harder to find good RP partners.

I understand you, because I myself had to leave the RP community two years ago, in which I lived for about 10 years. I have only recently begun to recover and again try to be interested in something new and look for new friends. I think that everything will definitely work out for you. Plus, your character concept sounds really inspiring
