Only accept what feel you can complete. I have seen a few artists take all requests and end up overworked.

It's up to you and limit amount of slots what you're comfortable at without feeling overworked. (Eg. 5 or 10 slots in each commission openings per 2 weeks up to 3 months depending on how fast you finish on each slots.)
