I didn't want to write this journal right away, I wanted to endure my grief on my own, but I didn't think that it could consume me so much
At the beginning of May I lost my great-grandmother. A man who taught me a lot and gave me just as much. She almost lived to be 100 years old, but alas
I still sometimes cannot accept this as reality. In a conversation with my grandmother, I want to ask about her, but she is no longer there. It's complicated. It's difficult when all that remains are memories
The hardest thing was to come to her old rural house. Plunge into childhood, remember how I was taught to handle cows, chickens and ducks. How she baked homemade bread, the smell of which filled the whole house. I will never forget the taste of that bread...
Difficult. For me, this is a large part of my life that is gone. I needed time. Thank you for reading this

I have lost my mother, grandfather (bio), three cousins, grandmother, and grandfather (marriage) all in the last decade. It's callous of me, but it does get easier as time goes on.....though I admit I may be weird when I say something like that. Cherish the memories and preserve the love you felt between each other. Hallow the times of love, and forgive the times of strife. If it is what you believe, they will be waiting for you when your times comes to travel to the next plane.
