hey everyone, it’s been a while. Last time I posted my daughter was 11 months old now she’s almost 2.5 And things are starting to regulate more for me for art. I’ve been focusing on a lot of non-Anthro stuff in my recent posts, but I still do draw my usual usual. A lot of my safer work art was a bit outdated and I felt like it might be smart to update my sfw general portfolio.I am currently on hiatus for commissions because I can't have work hours reliably. I still sell directly and may occasionally take work from previous clients and actual friends (mutal friends of friends with vetting)
I am still trying to make Mom friends, but apparently that is not very easy when you are Neuro-Spicy, grey feathered (lol 40+) and am pro erotica, nudity, and all. So I made some current stuff to have to show. I have been enjoying it and will continue both tracks. Putting it out there that I am not walking away from pinup and nude lewd, a few more updates in will be sfw, and eventually I will get to the rest of the adult stuff. I have things to finish, and since they are larger..they take longer. My daughter sees me arting, then she wants to paint and draw too.
In terms of kiddo, she's very talkative.Deep into imagination play, and a feral monkey with the petal to the metal all day. She's recommended preschool early, but isn't ready for that actual structure. All it is, is that she's already memorized alphabet, counting to 14, talks full longer sentences and is starting to sight read. She loves books like owl at home, frog and toad, little bear and other classics. Part of my silence is basically running a one kid preschool then needing to rot somewhere to recharge. The other is I self isolate when I get overwhelmed, or anxious. Anyway, I am much more available via telegram, discord, bluesky, cara ect.

sounds like you have an early bird as a daughter. :) teach her to read properly, and you'll maybe have some time free while she digs into anything readable. (just be careful with news. when I was little they let me read news magazines, but there they also described explicitely how people hurt other people, and that was not good for me in the long term. just saying.)
She loves her book about minerals and strata, one about the stages of an acorn, and I have her aware of issues like weather. I even found a kids book about quicksand, which was kinda weird enough to buy. I just don’t need to dump downers on her.
I grew up with NPR on or classical…24/7 but I don’t think I ever paid attention to the news. I swear also NPR used to play a LOT more music and have less news and more other talk and story sessions. I also have severe inattentive adhd so I was probably nose in book or something tuning it out.
long ago I visited someone together with na friend, and they had two little kids. one then approached me with the TV magazine in hand and asked me if all that was real. told the boy that everythign is only played pretend, except the news. what was on the news, really happened. boy wandered off, clearly with a plate full of food for thought.
these days parents seem to underestimate TV consummation without reflection, much more what happens on the internet. many schools here have problems with underage kids sharing video clips with porn or acts of violence, and others would rather film a scene of violence or accident than calling for help, using their smart phone as a kind of filter towards reality.
I need some books-to-read around me, or else I get nervous. nowadays at home, I tend to read stuff on the net, or watch videos of my interests, but at work, when taking a break, reading a book is mandatory for me. or a magazine, whatever. most co-workers raise eyebrows at this... thing is I don't want to talk much, munching my sammich, I need somethign else to think about rather than work, and I will sure as heck not sit there and stare into nothing for 30 minutes as I have witnessed some people do. I also don't smoke, so there is no alternative. :)
