I haven't any probelms with CHristians but sometimes....

They just plain tick me off. I'm not a Christian, I'm gay and I have a super religious mother so I dealt with aot from her when I was growing up. I had no choice but to deal with her, being that she is my mother no matter how much the things she says hurt all I could really do was retrain myself. Other people though, those you go to school or college with, they may not even know about your sexuality may not even be Christian but the shit they say hurts all the same. Whether its that "that's so gay" shit to the calling people "fags" it just drives me incredibly nuts and I'm getting really tired of it. You wouldn't believe how many times I've heard that old Sodom and Gomorrah crap even Christ himself claimed that there are worse things. Matthew 10:15 (fuck I'm mad enough to actually quote the bible) "And if any one will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave that house or town. Truly, I say to you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomor'rah than for that town."
If that isn't proof enough that homosexualirt ain't the worse thing around then quite frankly I don't know what will, its funny how people only quote that which makes it out to be an unpardonable sin. (Still cannot believe I just quoted the bible, I barely read the thing) I'd love to say that one day things will change and we will be accepted but I don't think there's any point in me lying. I mean I'll be honest I'm black, some people wouldn't be able to get over that right there -sigh- I'm getting ahead of myself but I'm just so tired of being judged by people mainly Christians. It just makes no sense to me how the people who preach of love and tolerance can be so hateful as it said "hate the sin not the sinner." If I keep this up this is gonna be way too long so I'm just gonna leave it at that...

I've really seen it too, these hypocritical 'Christians' calling one particular kind of sin worse than another. And I really do believe they are hypocrites in the worst of the word. Many people pick on homosexuality because that's the only sin in the Bible they DON'T commit on a regular basis. The Bible speaks volumes against fornication/adultery, lying, theft, and lust- who hasn't done any of that? These people read the Bible, find the ONLY thing they haven't done yet, and try to make themselves look more 'holy' by blasting everyone who HAS done that. And they pretend to ignore the truckload of indictments that the Bible holds against THEMSELVES. They wrongly use the Bible to bring themselves up and hold others down.
But they are missing the point of the Bible entirely. What they should realize is that no matter their sexual preference, their sins make them guilty criminals before a just and righteous God. And they can't fix themselves or make themselves 'more holy' by doing what the Bible says. They're perfectly evil already, and anything they do from now on isn't gonna fix what they've already done. As these hypocrites stand right now, they should be, and probably will be justly sent to hell for what they are. The purpose of the Bible is to bring EVERYONE down and show them their desperate evilness.
The Bible teaches that homosexuality is against God. But it also teaches that lying, thievery, racism, hypocrisy, adultery, and any kind of intentional harm against a person are against God. And everybody, especially me, should do to hell for what we have done. That's why Christians, real Christians, are so fanatical about Jesus. Because only the sacrifice of the Son of God could be big enough to pay for the sins we have committed, and Jesus says that whoever repents of their sins and believes in Him will have eternal life.
Homosexuality it definitely not the worst sin. The greatest commandment is ‘you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind’ and ‘you shall love your neighbor as yourself.' So, not doing that would be the worst sin.
The Bible also says that hypocrites will not enter heaven. So if you don't like hypocrites, don't end up in hell.
Maybe you should read the Bible more often, and even memorize a few verses to shoot back at some of these hypocrites when they bother you. How about:
Matthew 5:22 "But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing,' shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell."
Betcha that'll shut them up.
