[Not] Accepting commissions! [went wrong...]
General
So, the thing is this:
I have almost everything ready to start taking commissions. I just need to define the prices, although I already have fixed some basic prices, established according to my preferences and what I can offer.
Emm... My current situation is the following:
1. Do I already have the media to receive payments?: YES!
2. Do I have the time to work on commissions?: YES! (at least, as far as real life allows me to)
3. Am I ready to start taking commissions?:… BIG NO!
A few days ago (from today 23/06/2024), a user asked me to work on a drawing for him, that would be the first commission I have worked on in my life. And everything was going great! I hoped I could meet my client's expectations, until the job itself made me realize my reality. I don't want to tell the whole story (only if asked), but I'll just say that... It wasn't the best way to live my first experience with commissions.
Some out there will already know what they say about the first experience, which is the most important at any job to get confidence over one self. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience for my first commission assignment. Constant rushing for WIPs and the pressure of having disappointed my client are very strong blows, you know?
Honestly, I don't feel ready to delve into the world of commissions yet, my skills aren't up to par and my confidence has plummeted to the floor with that horrible first experience.
Maybe I'll open commissions at some other time... But it won't be now...

It will be something I will have to leave for later. For now, I want first to have fun with other artworks and other characters I want to draw :)
Thank you so much for your understanding! ^w^
