I works as math&science teacher (for 11-13yo kids classes) and today i've just made the final step with a presentation in front of the principal and a evaluation committee to have my contract upgraded into a permanent employment contract. This final act was almost a formality but it came after i worked hard to finally pass one of the various regional competitions that allotted limited numbers of winners everytime.

I am very tired but also very satisfied (I was part of a group of 12 teachers who made this upgrade this year, an unusual large number!), especially because it's the culmination of at least 3 years of preparation and post-degree studies i carried on during the spare time and moments of vacation during years of precarious work. I never missed to work an year, but everytime with uncertainty of the future and often moving from school to school.

Now this is over and i almost can't believe to have finally the first of many future year where i have not to spend my time in extra studies, competitions, regional tests etc.
More relax and personal time for sure! Furthermore a stable work place and collegues (and also a raise in the salary, that's welcome as well!)
