Furry webrings STILL EXIST!
FIREFOXES ARE NOT LITERALLY, "FOXES ON FIRE", AND I'M NOT A BEAR!!
Remember- International Red Panda Day is the 3rd Saturday of September.
Visit: http://redpandanetwork.org/get-invo.....red-panda-day/ for more info.A note: I will be migrating to personal journaling on Weasyl. I will post on FA, news and references more often.
If interested on my thoughts, desires and plans, go to my account there: https://www.weasyl.com/~excelsior30
( Related Journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11212492/ )
...and you want to make your journal pop? go here:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55619625/ Yes, FA is the place for meeting others, and you can also see too that you can post your pictures and arts related to furry that everyone can see. Of course we can have www.weasyl.com , www.ferzu.com , www.inkbunny.com , www.furtrack.com and the more general www.deviantart.com among others. The oldest though is FurNation-however that site has been shut down in 2017. (No fear though! If you want to revisit the memories of the site, there is Furnation Reborn: https://furnationreborn.com/ . ) They work, but think of them as a lessened version of FAcebook or WAY back, MySpace. Yes social media for the FF'dom.
But still, it can be the times when we can have our personal pages, and even things that would be more personal and private in which you feel you dont want to post on such sites, and perhaps you would still have that more private time away intstead of having your profile be full on in a third-party site. Yes, you will option to go and create your own website. However, you could post on here and others, but as it will be that you would want to have a community of websites around and go ahead and be with friends and connect with their websites, there exists the Webrings.
Before FA/Furnation, it was these that brought the FF'dom together, and in personal experience, it was the exposure of one site had a fursuiter like the Tampa Bay Lightning ( www.nhl.com/lighting ) and is a lion that got me exposed in 2000. It does not exist anymore now, but it did have the notable tag at the end that was called, "The Fursuit Ring"-this got me to expose that there were many other fursuiters that time. One of them was
BrokkenTWolf/
BluewolfCamera-his site is no longer functioning, but that does give a lot of info on many other things that I find useful in the early exposures of the FF'dom. There were many others, but this was a good setup for the site like this one now and the ones I listed much earlier in this journal. Should it be that these sites are shut down, it is good to go to the webrings to connect with the FF'dom members provided that you are close contacts with the artists, writers or fursuiters.
Another is "Furry Lifestyle Webring" which is more general, but anyone that contributes to the FF'dom especially fans can be on. It is off as well-if it werent for Yahoo to control webrings, they would still exist-their acts in controlling them led to many webrings to have their downfall.
It is some that are independent that are active now. It will be nice to have in case of apocalypse in the social networking, so it would be important to have some of these things from time to time. Yes, you may have to create your own page to be in one, but it can be rewarding.
Notably, there are a few that are existing in the furry world, though they are not too much. There is chance to revive the rings though if you are interested in participating and creating your own website to make yourself known. Here's a list:
Logansryche, who does maintain the Furnation Reborn website as well.
SUBRING: THERE IS THE ANTHRO ART RING THAT CONSISTS OF 2 WEBPAGES- https://furnationreborn.com/anthroart.html
I hope to do my website myself so that it can be good for all-not just for furs, but if it is that I'm in a webring, I'll let you know. Enjoy the personal websites of the furs you will see in these webrings!

Notably, there are a few that are existing in the furry world, though they are not too much. There is chance to revive the rings though if you are interested in participating and creating your own website to make yourself known. Here's a list:
1: Animalia Webring- https://lavender.chrysocyon.xyz/webring
It does include furries, but there are otherkin, therians and others. Do be careful, some can be sensitive.2: Furry Webri.ng- https://webri.ng/webring/uwu/
As of now, the site has just 1 member. This one has potential, and if you want to be in this one and make it grow, contact the webmaster.3: FurRing (the reborn version, derived from Furnation Reborn)- https://furnationreborn.com/furring.html
11 members, but has room for growth after the Yahoo-backed webring collapse. The sites can date back to the 20th Century, but are updated. There were duplicate versions of the Webring, but after the webring collapse, this version is maintained by
Logansryche, who does maintain the Furnation Reborn website as well.SUBRING: THERE IS THE ANTHRO ART RING THAT CONSISTS OF 2 WEBPAGES- https://furnationreborn.com/anthroart.html
4: Catfolk Webring- https://snewberry.neocities.org/catfolkwebring
29 sites, it devoted to cat furries ONLY! But still, if you are good enough in the FF'dom, there is a section that can put you on for furries to pay attention to.5: Furryring- https://furryring.neocities.org/
The most active site with 100+ sites! Though simple, sometimes less is more. It is regularly updated, and you can see some blogs from the Ringmaster. Suggestions are welcome.I hope to do my website myself so that it can be good for all-not just for furs, but if it is that I'm in a webring, I'll let you know. Enjoy the personal websites of the furs you will see in these webrings!
