Today at around 6 to 6:36AM, my Mom had unfortunately passed away in her bed at Carle Hospital.

She was having stomach problems that were causing her pain every time she ate something. She went in for surgery on May 3rd and was supposed to have it done and be back home recovering on the 4th. But unfortunately, that's when things started getting worse. It turns out the surgeon who did the operation had accidentally overlooked an infection and was already too late to stop it.

So she was forced to be kept in the hospital for much longer, up until today....

Various doctors and nurses worked their hardest to try and keep her stable. At first everything seemed to be alright, she was looking better, but right when all was well, her vital numbers started dropping down and heart rate was slowing down.

By then, she couldn't be sustained any longer, so me and dad had to make the tough decision of......letting her go :_;

It was a heartbreaking experience for us since we never thought we would lose her so soon, especially during the summer.

But I'm making a promise to myself to not let my grief and loss effect my focus in any way.

I have to stay strong, for my dad, my big brother, my relatives, and my friends.

But rest assured, Mom will always be missed. ;_;
