I enjoy my fair share of ai art, however it doesn't compare emotionally to working with a real person on a piece that means a lot to me. I have made many works of ai but in doing so I don't get the fulfillment of creativity that real artists give you. I 100% understand why it is not welcome in many communities, but I do not see it as a replacement for true artistic creativity, only as a place mark until a real human can give it the magic touch. If I want art, I will pay a real person to make it, never an ai programmed to "imagine"

But I can see the matter of fatigue. AI needs regulation

While yes, AI does continue to get better and better as technology continuously advances, I don't feel it will ever reach the greatness that human-made art does. AI can be hot and horny, but it doesn't contain the love or soul that human-made shows. I will be honest (and I hope this doesn't make me appear as a lesser person) I dabble in AI art and just regardless how detailed and quality the prompts, I have never seen a piece that matches what people are capable of, and I don't think I ever will, cause it lacks the uniqueness of what makes art made by real individuals so good. Also I never plan on sharing AI art and will always support real artists financially, not AI Directors.
All this is to say that your art is truly unique and incredible, and even if an AI scrapes your stuff it'll never be able to replicate what you do. If you are worried about the art scraping, there is a few tools I've heard of that can poison the AI when it tries to use your art, but I don't know much about it.
We would lose an absolutely incredible artists if you decided to throw in the towel, I've been a fan of yours for years now and AI could never change that. While I hope that you stay around I can also understand why you might feel you're better off finding something else to do, and I know whatever choice you decide will have support cause a lot of us really like you and your art, and just want the best to happen for you.
Also I hope the medical stuff can be resolved as quickly, smoothly, and painlessly as possible. Hang in there, QBlack!

AI art can never recreate the passion that actual artists can put into their craft, simple as that. you've perfected your own craft, why stop?

I've never bothered with AI stuff and never will (please alert me if my OC has been used for that) and I think it'd be awful if we lost you posting stuff, you've got a very nice style I like to see.
In fact I still want to commission you too but I'll have to plan and save for that of course... and excuse me if I still try to use kinky ideas, haha

I'm still digesting the fact that not only was a lora made of my OC, me of all people, and it was actually used to make some ai art. That's when I really understood that those people are coming for any and everything. I thought I was safe by trying to maintain an isolated internet presence, but the world is full of surprises that are equal parts incredible and disturbing. I will always have the utmost respect for artists and still commission them regardless of how far ai art may advance. I really appreciate what you all do for the medium and all the wonderful ways and styles that everyone uses to express themselves, its what fascinates me about it. Bringing fantasy to life is cool. Ai art is nothing without artists, if anything. I wish for a greater outcome, where artists can use ai stuff as a tool to make their lives easier, do things more efficiently. I think it could really add time to people's lives if used well, and not as some malicious replacement to avoid paying people for their efforts.

Dont lose your creative spark, that's a good way to fall into depression. Ultimately though, art needs to be something you enjoy, like how it was when you first got into it. AI may steal some views, but if you find joy in the creative process, then that in and of itself is still good. The joy of creating is something those prompters will never get.

Late to the party, I know, but I will say that A.I is getting to a point of strange self-consumption. You can easily tell when things are A.I generated, thankfully, and programs exist to suss it out as well. Until these tools are reigned in, take some comfort in the knowledge that there are people out there dedicated to screwing A.I progress at every turn.
