The Return of Max Lyon and Devon.

-Some time ago, i began a story series where a 20 year old,, short, small young man who was struggling in poverty, set out in his late father's greatest possession, a 1967 Mustang Boss 302, to get out of the rotting moldy, leaking shack he lived in. lonely, hungry, depressed, - Devon Alexander has never ventured out to the outside world he was born in a remote isolated country farm, his late-parents left to him. Devon packed the few belongings he had in his dad's car, and hit the road to seal a better life. - The story continues to where Devon discovers (after his crash accident) that the great large cats of the earth have become civilized, gained-the status as a "people" race that now live among humans and developed a great bond/Alliance with the human people. Devon eventually becomes close friends with Max after the night rescue, (he also quickly becomes friends & bonds with Max's other relatives, his sister Elsa, (A lioness who is a doctor!) Max's friend Chuck, a Cheetah-mechanic who works at Max's Auto-shop) Among others including Anthony, (a civilized Bengal Tiger) and Jesse, their smile-inducing red-neck-style, human bearded master mechanic, they nick-named the "red-dragon" Devon eventually began to work at Max;s shop with them all, as if you follow the story, they all become close, but the bond between the small, short, 98 lb, 5.1 feet tall, slender, human named Devon, -and the much bigger 340 lb, 7.2 feet tall Anthropomorphic South-African male Lion, -began to grow, and eventually will lead to some of the most remamtic love-story between these two "completely different" beings, and the story is planned to take two directions, a mild romantic story between them both, and a more erotic, sexual-dream-fetish-direction of these two so physically different guys, but to not impossible-fetish, love, sex, and bond they both gain & build unexpectedly together. The Devon & Max Chronicles story may have took a pause some years ago, but its about to come-alive again, -but only if i receive enough support to finish the new chapters of their romantic & sexual adventures. I have been planning to continue their story, (or the "Chronicles of Max & Devon") so to speak. I am struggling with many options i have in mind to continue their story, which consists of many directions. But maybe i need to just focus on the launch from the last moment Devon went to bed after the moment they got back with Max bringing the jack to anthony that night after Max got the pager-call at the moment where Max was becoming "sentual" with Devon after seeing his drawing sketch that night. That technically was where the story left off, (with your shower story placed just before that)

Yah, it's good to plan out a complete story arc (how the overall story begins, progresses and eventually ends) then break down that arc into chapters that eventually become the individual stories. Much like planning out a season of episodes for a tv show. Having little cliff hangers from story to story or introducing some foreshadowing helps generate interest for readers to continue reading future episodes. The most important thing is to also just have fun. :)

I agree with the "cliff-hangers" for each story, as that is what keeps people interested in the next chapter to see "what happens" so to speak. The Max & Devon story series to a couple critics years ago, they claimed the story was close to the "red-line" for some who see it as human & animal (beastility) oriented, but they don't realize the story is Fictional, and about a former animal species "evolving" and developing into a "people race" with civilized, human-like nature, (In short, a Anthropomorphic Race of Lion people) same applies to the other Big cat species/people in the story. All of them are now very human-like, with human intelligence, life-style, & live a civilized life inter-connected with humanity & civilization, & been included into the "new" "peoples rights" of society, (which replaced "human rights" before their rise to civilization in the story-world. While Devon is a small, stunted-groth, short 5.1 foot Human man, & Max is a massive, 360+ lb 7+ foot tall Lion standing & walking upright & bipedal, as is Chuck is a Cheetah, Anthony is a Tiger, -They all are a part of the stories "peoples race" where they live together, work together, and even establish relationships together. People lke Max,Chuck, etc would not survive very long on the sahara plains of Africa, because they are civilized people, & not wild animals after half a century of evolution in the story setting.

I agree. Max Lyon is a Anthropomorpic Lion, (as is the other big felines on the story are) They are not "animals" no more, as they are civilized, inteligent, now human-like people living in a human-based society. Just becaue they have a DNA-connection & past to their ancestors of their species, they are now very humanoid in intilect, stature, intelligence, & life-style of how they live now. (basically the formula for an anthropomorphic being, that evolved from an animal creature, to become more humanoid in nature and show more human-traits in physical, intelectual, & spiritual connections to the human-race.
