yeah, I get those sometimes. it's like 50/50 if it's a bot or someone who wants to order art or fan who wants to befriend me. Most of the time people don't tell me who they are even though I have that on my site.

I try to look at the account. Most of the time if it's a human photo icon with no description I ignore them.
If they have some kind of furry icon with a description they are usually ligit. But I'm a bit sus of popular anime or cartoon icons.
I might search the user name on Google to see if they have a twitter, FA, DA whatever account.
