Hello, hello! Hope you have been well as good summer vibes take over~

As many of you know I moved to Germany to marry the love of my life, and start life anew here. So far everything has been falling into place, but there have been some speedbumps on the Autobahn. However, our paperwork is 100% perfect, so any delays have been completely out of our hands. Fortunately, we were able to set our wedding for August 5th, and the plans are coming together nicely. We're having a private ceremony and a small afterparty for close friends and family, and might take a few days out in Austria to finish off the week.

I've been enjoying travelling some of Germany with my fiancé to get to know my new home a bit better. I joined him for a recent business trip to Potsdam, and while there we spent an evening in Berlin. I got to see both Brandenburg Gates in one trip! We also visited Heidelberg Castle, and had some lunch in the courtyard. In a couple of months we'll be going to Hamburg for Eurofurence, and to enjoy a bit of sightseeing. I'm excited for him to experience his first furcon. He's an IT guy and gamer, so I've already clued him in that so much of the furry community are his people, so I think he'll have a good time.

Otherwise I have been studying German so I can pass my A1 certification in September. Given my lack of residency permit I was not certain if I could accept commissions or otherwise earn money, so rather than upset the government I am trying to win over I have been delaying my ambitions. I did get clarification that I would be able to, but even still I'm not personally prepared in the very moment to launch Patreon and Discord servers and tend to those while having to spend many of my "working" hours learning German well enough to pass a test that keeps me in the country. So, I appreciate the interest in those who've approached me regarding commissions, and those who've expressed desire to subscribe to my upcoming Patreon, but for now it has to wait. I certainly hope that desire is still there once I am able to launch everything!

Beyond planning our wedding, studying German, and traveling the country, I have been making little plot notes for upcoming stories, running a couple of raffles I can fulfill in August, and enjoying FFXIV's Dawntrail expansion. I expect to be settling into a new normal by the end of summer, and most definitely after Eurofurence. For those who have been patient with me as I yammer about all of my ambitions and plans, thank you for listening to me, and supporting my desires. Soon they shall come to fruition, and everything'll get nice and shiny hehe
