Can I get some Feedback?
Right, I've been doing these Themed sales for a while now, and I'm honestly curious about how people thought about them. SO if you got a minute, mind answering some questions?
1. If you ordered from one of the themed sales, which one(s)?
2. What initially drew you towards the sale? (theme, liked other peoples' outcomes, etc)
3. On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied were you with your order?
4. If I redid a sale, which one would you like to see come back, and what would you add, or do differently?
-
1. If you haven't ordered from one of the themed sales, what was it that you didn't like? (Theme, cost, didn't think the art was worth the price, etc)
2. Any ideas for future sales you would want to see?
Please answer honestly! (I swear I won't be offended!) And thank you for your time!

2. Generally, a combination of an interesting idea that I hadn't considering engaging my OCs with before, or purely a desire for nonsense with those same OCs.
3. While I want to give a 10 from sheer satisfaction, I'm only going with a 9 because there's always room for improvement, even if I can't see it. I don't think there's been a single piece you've created for me that I've been unhappy or unsatisfied with.
4. I always wanted to see more of Warfang 40B, perhaps with a character+tank/vehicle variation of as seen in the G-One themed sale.
-
1. Can't answer this one, as I don't think there's a themed sale I haven't bought into.
2. Perhaps a "cartoony-remake" style themed sale, where a specific cartoon style is emulated (Disney, Looney Toons, Popeye the Sailor, etc.)
2) i liked the premise of your ideas
3) 9 out of 10
4) i wanna see the date/couple one return, maybe in a new setting like ferris wheel or at a fancy resturaunt or something like a couple pushed together in a tight space.
2. The Theme, the outcomes and the price.
Speaking purely about the Poof Party for this comment: It wasn't to expansive compared to other things you've done, so i was able to actually buy it without bombing my wallet.
3. I'd say 9, i'm very careful with giving out absolutes.
4. Once again: Poof Party. As for adding; More items and levels. Maybe some new spots as well, like something based on Mario Party's piranha plant spot in Peach's Birthday Cake, or the Boo Spot or the actual spot where you get the golden ham, or Chance Time or whatever the equivilant of a Bowser Space might be, or a bank space or power-up space, ect.
2. I've been a big fan of futuristic racing games, so the theme drew me in
3. 9.5/10
4. The Aggression Style, G-One, Warfang 80B, and Battle Boys Y
If you redid a sale, I'd like to see you go another round with DLLO TV.
As for future ideas, perhaps you could do fake VHS covers (both front, back, and spine). Wear and tear, stickers, and other artifacts optional.
* My interest in both was seeing the ways you would adapt my OC to fit the theme of the sale, or the prompt, in the case of DLLO TV.
* I think my appearance in the Swiper pic is a solid 9 - not sure if I could have said anything to improve the outcome...I guess I'm just not into the Swipers style. As for the DLLO TV pic, definitely 9.5, I certainly liked the interpretation of the show style <3
* Not sure if this is a feasible way to apply a discount, but maybe DLLO TV shows can get a 15% discount for sequels? I really enjoyed that sale the most!
2. Something about the themes got me interested. Like I really enjoyed them.
3. 10 definitely for the ones I got.
4. As for which one, hard to say which one but the date I wouldn't like maybe a season related or holiday related one would be cool. The tavern ones, not sure about that one.
-
1. Well I didn't like them but rather it didn't interest me to be honest. But also I think it might have been the price perhaps.
2. Well maybe season related, like Autumn, Winter, etc. More holiday related perhaps.
2. Bored and wanted to see how you drew my characters.
3. 9/10. I'm nitpicky. lol.
4. Anything goes. I would be interested to see how you'll expand G-One, maybe where you can see the pilots racing eachother, or seeing Battle Boys Y actually battle. As a random set of suggestions for Poofstation, maybe additional games like sports, racing (either car-based or use that for a G-One crossover), or perhaps a "Doom clone"?
2.) I like how stylized and unique they are.
3.) 10/10
4.) I'm always game to see Aggression return, that's always super fun to see.
2) The theme appealed to me due to the character I had in mind for you to draw (The Shadowvixen), since I can imagine her adventures being a syndicated TV show. :)
3) 10/10, would definitely recommend!
4) Would definitely like to see DLLO-TV again in the future, as well as Sniff 'n Snoff Tavern. Aggression is fun, too, and a Sci-Fi or Spy theme would be interesting to see.
2. I love your style!
3. I have only been in one of your older sales but you are amazing to commission, I'd say average 8 or 9.
4. Honestly, I'd love seeing any of the ones you love to do.
-
1. I have not had the cash.
2. Something involving gowns, mayhaps.... :3
2. The themes for sure. And your particular style of being able to range from serious to funny.
3. 8. And most of that is more the nature of a YCH since small detail tweaks are impossible in it.
4. The pixel one for sure. This was my favorite.
2. I was initially drawn to the sale because I really enjoyed the theme! The quality of art was lovely, I liked other people's outcomes and enjoyed the whole romance angle. I had a friends character that I really wanted to be featured with and thought this would be a great opportunity.
3. Honestly speaking...like a 4 maybe. ^^" Don't get me wrong, the quality was fantastic! Coloring was beautiful overall, drawing style itself was amazing, and it was overall really great work. The main problems I had was that there were multiple issues including a specific characters coloring, her fur pattern being incorrect in a few places (ex. her ref had a two tone tail, but it was done solid white), and she was put in the wrong outfit when I had requested a specific one. I mean I get if we can't do outfit requests, but a friend did the same sale and his request for a specific outfit was followed completely. It left me feeling a bit upset, but I didn't want to say much at the time as I didn't want to offend. But to be completely honest I was not happy with the finished product. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I haven't wanted to come back for another sale.
4. If you redid a sale, I'd vote DLLO TV Streaming as thats just genius and Swipers as I love seeing how creative you can be.
2. What initially drew me to the Super Poofstation sale was the theme itself (I love video games) and the fact that you did a pixel art piece for me beforehand (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54897636/). Even though my characters weren't the focus there, I'm happy about the quality of the pic and how I was able to get something neat for my friends.
As for the DLLO TV sale, initially I wasn't planning to place an order. However, I thought about it and determined that my character VeeGrowmon's superhero alter-ego would make for a great concept for a TV show (and I'm happy you agree!).
3. Super Poofstation satisfaction (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55538399/): at least an 8 out of 10. As fun as the 16-bit Final Fantasy-style character sprites are, part of me does wish I had gone with one of the other games because they offered larger, more detailed sprites (and platformers are my favorite video game genre). However, again, the quality of the work and the experience of getting something fun for my friends made it all worth it. In this instance, it also led to this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56829063/. So I really can't complain at all here.
4. I would definitely like to see the Super Poofstation sale come back so I can try one of the games I didn't choose last time. Maybe some new games could be added, like a racing game, fighting game or even a shooting game. I'd also like the see the Carnival Date Night, Everything Food Truck and maybe the Poof Inc. sales make a comeback in the future, too.
The themed sales I didn't place an order for just didn't interest me at the time. That's nothing against you, and I can't say I won't jump on some of these in the future if an interesting idea strikes me.
As for ideas for future sales, how about a bodybuilding-themed sale? I recognize that you don't draw hyper/over-engorged muscles, but you still draw some pretty attractive buff and/or athletic body shapes. It could be fun to conduct a whole sale dedicated to showing those off (especially since we're still in the middle of summer - the beach season, basically). A macro-/kaiju-themed sale could be fun as well.
2. its flashy hi tech racing game inspired which grabbed my attention
3. a solid 8 out of ten. i feel i could have fleshed my idea out a little better so that 2 is on me.
4. Cant go wrong with more car/ vehicle types.
Am kicking myself for unexpected costs to prevent me from snaging the most recent G-One racer sale. had a good idea this time. will save it for next time it pops up.
2. Aside from liking your work, I just thought it would fit well with my character since she needed more art.
3. 8, it was a great piece, but I would've preferred a different theme. But that's my fault for not specifying what I wanted. You do great work with what you got.
4. Either the Carnival Date Night or any of the summer ones, the former because I never got to participate in it and would like to.
2. The art and collabs are awesome. The couple themes really get me and seeing others really made me jump
3. 10+
4. I wasnt very active during anything before the carnival so I'd love to see the masquerade one again or something like it
Ideas? Spooky things! Ghost hunting scenes or even spooky balls. I'm always a sucker for dessert themed things like candy land. "Take a class" would be fun and you could do like cooking, flowers, woodworking stuff for couples. Over exaggerated romance covers would be hilarious. Holiday themes are always a good one. Pool party. Ive got all kinds of ideas XD
1. i thought it was a good way to mix things up a bit and ones like the Dillo TV were very good! Price wise i thought they were pretty reasonable for what you get. Only thing that might effect it was doing the sales with mixed with regular types of comms not sure if it was overwhelming you or slowed your work flow a bit due to to the detailing, colouring etc. But overall they were pretty good!
2. I think if you did future ones maybe a Super Hero/Heroine theme, Monster theme, 1920s/1930s evening theme (like Jessica Rabbit kind) theme etc.
2. I was a big fan of F-ZERO, and thought I'd get one
3. 9, really loved it
4. I would like to see that one come back at some point, but while this wouldn't be necessary, having more vehicle options, but making it where each vehicle is single-slot purchase. Basically, the race craft would be unique to the driver, and no one would have the same ship design other than the purchaser. It would be more time consuming to do things like that unfortunately, and perhaps make others upset if they didn't get one in time, but it would be interesting to see a unique roster instead of the same ship with different color themes to them. Just my thoughts on the matter!
2. I really liked the theme.
3. 10! Technically, FemSloan was depicted a bit skinnier than normal, but that was FemSloan as a Nintendo princess style character in a game so it's not a problem.
4. Poof Party, of course. Maybe have some minigame options as well? Also G-One Lightspeed Mag Racing, with a "bring your own racer" option.
-
1. G-One Lightspeed Mag Racing - I actually really wanted to get one of these, but I already have a racing machine designed and it didn't seem like you had a "bring your own racer" option.
2. Maybe something based loosely off of Star Fox, command in particular since it introduced all the different fighter variants? Or possibly a "toon" theme like flafty's suggestion.
2. The comical potential of the concept
3. 9.5/10
4. Poof Party!
-
1. N/A
2. Something Call of Duty-themed, something inspired by the in-game Operators. Other than that, anything with potential for beeeeeg dresses is a thumbs up from me :)
1- I wanted to order the G-one theme a last month, but it was mostly because of financial reasons that i didnt. Priorities shifted *very* heavily and quickly in June for personal reasons so... :( eh... I'd also get a Poofstation one maybe cause i like the idea since my OC is technically based/set off the TT and videogame universe of Shadowrun so it seems to fit well.
2- Poof' for sure, would be fun to get this and definitely a Blitz one eventually even if its not "on sale" directly. Theme-wise, if i had to suggest a new one, maybe something Magical Girl related (which i think could be funny and would also allow you to go wild on designs) or Mecha-related (like the G-serie, but mecha pilots instead of racers).
2: Something sci-fi themed would be neat.
2. The themes seem really interesting
3. 8-9. No particular reason.
4. I would certainly want to see more of Poof Party. Maybe add in some mini games along with that.
-
2. Only heard about the gallery for a while. I'll keep an eye out on other potential sales.
Poof Party, Masquerade Mansion, Swipers, Poof Inc, Carnival Date
2. What initially drew you towards the sale? (theme, liked other peoples' outcomes, etc)
For some, they involve aesthetics that I enjoy (gowns for Poof Party and Masquerade, office ladies for Poof Inc) or interesting themes that I wanted to see with my OCs (romantic themes with masquerade and the carnival date, pokemon with swipers)
3. On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied were you with your order?
10, I've been very happy with all of my commissions from you.
4. If I redid a sale, which one would you like to see come back, and what would you add, or do differently?
I'd love to see another rendition of the Masquerade Mansion, or a similar event that involves plenty of big gowns! It would also be nice to see Swipers return
2: Food and sharing a meal is a universal theme, one that everyone can take home. Quite inspiring seeing what food people can come up with and seeing you bring them to life. In terms of art drawing food is a very good skill to have.
3: Ten out of ten. Would eat here again.
4: As its the only one i have purchased at this time, i hope you keep the food truck alive. I would add more locales.
2. I enjoyed those themes and loved the previews you did of them, they seemed promising! Along with the various options of background and how many characters.
3. Easy 10
4. Oh I was a fan of the Mansion ball. But also the fantasy themes! Generally I think some date/fashion nights could be fun as well where you design the outfits.
The food truck one was good too but I lacked money during this time sadly :)
Wouldn’t do anything different tbh! The menu of them with the choices are awesome and they’re a fun mix of artistic freedom but with the input of what the commissioner enjoys ^^
1. the price is a bit high for me i wish they was a cheaper non color option that you can get and color yourself when you wanted
2. i liked Super Poofstation and Sniff n' Snoff Tavern the most. the rest are ok
2. I got into antigravity racers last year and enjoyed them
3. 8
4. I ... don't have any ideas
5. The Netflix TV show one is okay but I'm saving for a big expense coming up soon
6. Something something jet fighters
2. The general Mario Party inspired theme in general, plus the Princess option.
3. 10
4. More Poof Party and I will add options as to what the Mystery Cake can do if a player character eats it.
2. It was the theme, I'm a huge fan of the Mega Man series.
3. 10/10, it came out amazing.
4. I don't know to be honest.
1. I have gotten ones in the past, I forget the event. But recently Battle Boys Y, G-One and Dilo TV
2. I always liked your stuff, I came to FA for the cute ladies/etc., but really liked your style so I was happy to work with you and loved to see the sheer variety of cute, cool and anything in between. Other people's outcomes definitely helped, but mostly the theme was the main attraction!
3. I'd give a solid 9. Wishy washy sounding I'm sure, there wasn't really anything I had against them and very much enjoyed what I received which made getting additional ones a no-brainer. Realistically I could have said '10', though maybe some of the character details or ideas didn't quite translate (which is perfectly reasonable given how hard that can be when no WIP is given).
4. I think the Sniff n' Snoff Tavern would be great, but maybe trickier than the others. Dunno what I'd change, maybe having some extra setups like 'tavern dancer', 'bartender', 'shopkeep' (selling potions or artifacts) would be neat
-
2. For future sales... Unsure. A pokemon style event where you design a companion/monster for the persons character could be neat, or maybe a 'meet and greet' event where you give a character and info, and you pair them up with another persons randomly and design a scene for the two. Maybe tricky, maybe prone to issues, but I do think that sort of 'random crossover' could be pretty fun
2. I like the themes and I like what you're able to do with them. I like your willingness to interpret and play with the ideas or characters I give you.
3. Very satisfied but please forgive me if I decline to put a hard number on it.
4. Maybe the themed chibis you've done a while ago, meant to be stitched together into a big image. And maybe "season 2" for the DLLO-TV shows, if you'd be open to offering such a thing.
I was drawn to these sales as they were interesting for characters of mine to be put in especially Lord Karrion, Major General Tobias Churchill, Major General Olivia Churchill and Riley.
I'd say I'd give what I got a solid 10.
2. Loved the themes (cute romance, medieval fantasy, custom TV shows/movies). I've liked most of your sale themes, I just haven't been able to participate. You're very creative and execute them very well :)
3. Probably 9, if only because I'm very particular about certain character details (which I recognize can be just me being picky).
4. The short version is basically "more options" for returning sales: new map for Poof Party, new location for Dinner Date Night, new levels for Super Poofstation Pixels, etc. Not that the current ones are bad or anything, just that it's nice to have more choices (though I recognize this could be a lot of work, and I don't have any specific suggestions).
For Poof Inc and Sniff 'n Snoff Tavern, it would be neat to see the general themes (zany sitcom, fantasy world) return, but maybe in a new context (maybe at home or a non-office job, or fantasy town/wilderness/dungeon?).
---
1. There are many sales that I wanted to order from, and would still like to if they return (Poof Party, Battle Boys Y, Swipers, Aggression, and more), but my budget just hasn't allowed it at the time. Not that they're too expensive, just that I don't have the money for frequent big art purchases.
(or, the people I wanted to share it with couldn't afford it at the time either)
2. Superheroes, Mario Kart, maybe cartoon style emulation?
