My birthday is real close, like within the week close. I don't like it.

It's just a reminder of me getting older, and putting lots of unwanted irl attention to myself. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate people who want to celebrate my birthday with me, but at the same time it also feels like social pressure of them expecting something grandeur with me at the center of it.

feels a bit hypocritical to say not wanting attention while posting this here, but anonymity is one hell of a drug to get me act differently I suppose.
