I have been wanting to write some hypertext fiction since a very long time... but I struggle a lot with this format. As a result, I've been working for months on something that... is still under heavy construction, way, way, too ambitious, and with some mechanics still requiring a lot of polish.

I do not know if I'll manage to make it a reality, but at least it's an interesting challenge.

At some point, I felt on my way to burn-out, however. So, to let it cool down, and both to temporarily keep it out of my brain and to remain active, I tried a fun little side-project.

This led to "The Familier", a French story.

Some kind readers reacted encouragingly, despite this text not being in their language, letting me know that someone cared. It helped a lot with my motivation, and I thank you all warmly.

As I was riding that momentum, I thought I'd also write a small English story: since some people still followed me, I felt bad to only pop-up in their notifications, after so long, with something unreadable for them.

As you can see from The Familier still being my last post after 3 weeks, things didn't go exactly as planned... /however/ they didn't go bad!

On the contrary, I found my initial idea to be fun and inspiring, and the story grew more ambitious. I've been writing at a good pace for these three weeks, it's taking shape and I have a good idea of where I'm going with the ending.

I don't like to speak too soon, because I'm always afraid to hit the block and not to deliver: many stories I started were never finished. But I'm becoming confident enough about this one.

I think I'll still need a couple of weeks (keep in mind that I'm poor at predicting my writing pace, however).

So, I just wanted to let you know that something is on its way. And if you enjoy my way too long stories, with way too much world-building around the porn, hopefully, you might enjoy this one. <3
